He looked revolted by what I had just told him. He did not seem like he believed my words. "Why do you say that Genevieve? Where have I failed?"
I stared at him before I smiled. Alright then, if he wanted to know then I was going to tell him everything I said.
"Do you remember when you followed me to the women's house after arts in my reliance quotes? When you followed me into an Ally where I cried?" He nodded with uncertainty, he did not know where this was going. I continued, "do you remember how badly I was crying because I found out that Marilyn was dead and no one sympathized with her rather people accusing her of doing black magic and having me abducted?"
His eyes and facial expressions were no longer revolted. Now he was just sad as I was because he realised where this was going.
