I tilted my head slightly when I saw marilyn standing there unmoving and unyielding.
I moved forward and stood at one step below her. "What?"
"I heard," she said, "I hate everything that you said to him."
"And?"
She shook her head as she gulped. "Do not do this princess. You must understand that everything happening will unravel with time. But you cannot do this!" She whisper yelled to me.
I raised my hand to stop her. "Do not be concerned about me anymore Marilyn. I will see what I have to do for myself now."
I sidestepped her and crossed her to go away when she appeared beside me climbing up the stairs.
"Of course I worry about you princess," her face could show she was about to cry any moment now, "I will always worry about you. What you are doing is not right." She shook her head and I scoffed.
I I was about to repeat what I had told her earlier but then I stopped and started to increase my pace up the stairs.
