I breathed the fresh air as I steeped out in the dawn. I was bringing Marilyn back with me to the castle as the first task but sadly The Prince had decided to accompany me.
We were walking to the inn and the gaurds were scattered around. No one knew that the prince was here and in the clothes of a worker with dust on his face he looked more of a hard working laborer than a regal prince.
"That is the inn you were staying at?'" he asked as soon as he saw it with his face twisted at the sight distastefully.
I tsked. "Imagine the scenario yourself, three women staying at an expensive inn, what does that look like to you?"
"Perhaps they won't like the roof to fall over their heads?"
I shot him an unimpressed look. "No, Three women alone staying at a good and expensive inn only give the image to others to rob them of the money they have!" I stopped at the end of it as the realisation stepped in.
