Never had I ever thought of seeing the boy I saved, the one who could barely even open his eyes let alone move, would stand in front of me like a normal, healthy boy from both mind and body.
"What did you just say?" I heard Merilyn ask him as I watched.
He did not even glance at her rather just kept staring at me. "I said, for the debt that I owe you which is of my life, I would like to serve you for the rest of me life."
Perhaps the fever went to his brain. "I do not understand your thinking here." I said with disbelief and annoyance visible in my voice. "Even though you have already been in a life of slavery, the very one I saved you from; you would again become someone's slave? Willingly too?"
He nodded with a slight smile. "My parents had sold me to a trader. I do not know why, I was never told why except that they did not want me and now I have to face the Consequences of it."
