I didn't understand what happened with Tristan. But I did not pay it much mind because just as I came into my room and sat on the bed I fell into a long and beautiful sleep. It was Marilyn who had shaken me awake.
"Are you good?" She looked at me with concern in her eyes as I nodded still drowsy from sleep.
"I am fine." I answered, clearing my throat at the end. It was not painful but I could feel a slight headache coming out. "Help me," I croaked out as I gave her my hand to help me get out of bed.
Merylin immediately grasped my hand and did as told. She supported my weight as I clung to her side because my legs seemed to be unavailable all of a sudden. They ached as I stood up. I groaned at the ceiling.
"What is wrong, Genevieve?" She whispered, concerned about the sudden downfall of my health. "You were fine at breakfast."
