I heard the footsteps before I saw who was coming in. Not many people came around here but those who did were either the enemies or the last remaining members that were supporting the ideas.
The man stopped and bowed down in front of me. "It's Ezekiel, your grace."
I smiled. Of course, I remember who he was. Ezekiel was one of my most prized possessions.
"What have you brought for me?" I asked not bothering to stand up.
Raising his hand, he showed me the envelope in it. "The Princess finally sent a letter."
His words made me huff. He was just as impatient as I was regarding the whole matter. But we needed the letter to move forward.
I stood up from where I was sitting and moved to the iron bars. He stuck his hand in between them and passed me the letter that I took.
"Look at that," I commented as I opened it, "only two small pieces of paper?" I mused. This was less but they have to make do.
