"Shut it!" A sharp voice rang out and my heart thundered from it. "Why are ye' two bastards 'ere?!'
I cringed at her language. No lady ever should cruse like that but something told me that there was no one stopping her from it.
She descended from the stairs in the corner of the room as if she was the queen and not me. Her eyes were trained to me as she stepped closer to the three of us.
"She ain't one of mine." She declared and stepped closer. Her hand came to my jaw and she looked at me with interest and precision. "Neither does she look like she belongs somewhere else."
