It took a while for Jasmine to recover her wits after the goddess went back to the sea. The latter had berated her for falling into a trap so easily, which meant that Dahlia was not unwell. But what was wrong with her? She considered going back to check on her but figured she might just fall into the trap again, so she changed her mind and decided to let Dairon take care of Dahlia, and teleported back to the realm of immortals as soon as she felt her power again.
King Rian was waiting for her on Dairon's island and when she arrived.

"Where have you been, Jasmine?" He asked.
She knew that it was part of a trap even without waiting for him to state his reason for coming over to look for her. She was uneasy. "I went to the Proconian Isles to look for my partner. Is there something wrong?"
"Did you think of the possibility that he could be in the human realm?" He probed.
