"Is there something wrong?" Sophie asked, uncomfortable under Jasmine's sharp gaze.
"Mother, is there something I don't know?" She asked. "How can you see the door?"
"I don't know either. It's just… there." Sophie averted her gaze.
Jasmine sucked in a breath. She didn't want to make things difficult for her mother but she couldn't help frowning. "You never keep things from me and Dahlia, mother. I hope it remains that way."
"What are the two of you talking about?" Harry couldn't make head or tail of whatever argument was about to unfold between his wife and daughter.
"I don't want to go." Jasmine closed her eyes with a soft sigh. She was helpless as it felt more real now that reality had sunk in. She had missed her family but what was the point of coming back if she was going to leave again? And who knew when she would return?
"It's gone." Sophie suddenly gasped. When Jasmine looked back, she realized that the door was no longer there.
