As we kept talking, I looked at Alice from time to time. I could see that she changed after a nap. She is more energetic. Seeing it, I smiled, and then I kept talking with her until I could feel a few kicks incoming. When I looked at my tummy I said, "oh my child. Daddy isn't here."
"Oh, Emily started kicking," Alice asked. When I nodded, she added, "Adam almost hasn't."
"She is so active," I said while smiling. When Alice looked at me, she smiled, and then said, "I will go see how Adam is doing."
"Ok," I said, and then she walked away. When I was alone in my bedroom, I started singing. I wanted to let Emily know that she will not talk with Joe. When I looked around, and she was done with kicking, I smiled and waited for Alice to come back. When she finally did this, I smiled, and then asked, "So how is Adam?"
"Sleeping. He moved his hands so nicely," she said.
"Oh no, this is nice. Later you will run after him," I said.
