Arie wasn't receiving any pain since he lowered the pain sensor. It made the pain from burning felt like stings of ants crawling through his skin.
"Why? Are you dying?" Urie jokingly replied.
"I might if I don't do something!" Arie exclaimed as he raised his hand and his inventory interface appeared above him.
Bottles filled with red liquid appeared as he drank one bottle at steady intervals.
"Okay, I got it!" Urie seriously replied as his own inventory interface appeared in front of him and used the trading system to trade a bunch of bottles filled with red and pink liquid.
The red liquid was the HP potion that beastmasters and their beasts used to replenish their health, while the pink-colored liquid was called a Regeneration Potion. It was used to keep their HP regenerating at an interval.
Arie received the trade request and accepted the items that his brother gave him.
The moment that the items were received, Arie drank a bottle of Regeneration Potion and a Basic HP Potion.
Time passes by slowly as Urie watched his brother struggle to keep his HP bar away from critical level as he ran back and forth towards the Obsidium Town using his Teleport Ability and Alpagon, which woke up a few hours after.
Urie changed its name from Alpagon to Yamagon.
He also received an interface alert when Yamagon woke up and that was about Yamagon's Natal Ability that was discovered after its second mutation, which was called Adaptation.
With this Natal Ability, it can adapt to any changes to its surroundings, it can even adapt underwater if the prerequisite to adapt was reached, which Urie knows what it is already.
He wants to search anything about the Natal Ability since it wasn't introduced at the manual but he couldn't do so because it requires for a person to have access on external world and the only people that could help him were Blue Liquor who separated ways with them and Arie who was dealing with his circumstance.
He doesn't have any choice but to push it back from his priorities and focus on supporting his brother from his ordeal.
Almost a day passed with Urie's coins halved and his ability's cooldown was halfway through when Arie emerged from the river and loud sounds of applause echoed beside it as if welcoming the young man.
His features changed as his Elven green hair gained a red hue at the tips and his eyes had a red color. His face has this crack-like feature in it, like the cracks where lava flowed.
He looked more handsome after the changes, even though he was just a teenager. He has this sophisticated look that could be compared to royalty, and a calm and majestic aura that pure-blooded elves have.
"It feels like he has the energy of those from the Elven Royalty!" the old man exclaimed as he closed his eyes, feeling the pure reverence that he has for the aura that the young man emanated.
"Big Brother? Are you an Elven Prince?" a small boy asked.
"Hmm, I don't know, but I hope I can figure it out!" Arie smiled as he patted the boy's head.
"We're graced to have the both of you here! Saviour of our kind! We wish to repay you for the deeds that you gave upon us!" the old man thanked as he invited the two of them back to Asheville, which was under continuous construction, made by the male elves with bigger builds than the rest.
One couldn't compare the current look of the Asheville now from before when Urie and Arie went to replenish the Embers of Life's energy. It looked like a majestic place slowly emerging from the ground.
It could be seen that the Ashen Elves' culture and sense of aestheticism were topnotch and almost flawless.
The old man led them towards the palace where they replenished the crystal, but they took another route from where they went before towards a place that looks like some sort of enormous vault.
He waved his hand and brilliant red light was emitted from his hand towards the large door as the lines that were inscribed on the door lit up as it slowly opened.
Glimmering items appeared before their eyes as they saw a mountain sized pile of gold and treasure.
Everywhere they looked, gold, and jewelries were all that they could see.
"You have these tons of treasures that you hid. Why not use them to rebuild Asheville before?" Urie asked as he picked up a gem and crunched it in between his teeth, trying to see if they were real gems or not.
"Well, the thing is, that door that we went through was also made by the Ancient Ashen Elves and it was closed since the day that the lava stopped flowing from the volcano." The old man explained as he led Urie towards a certain place while Arie swam through the pile of gold.
"Oh! It was powered by the lava too!" Urie nodded when he understood what the old man meant.
"Yes! So, we can't open it no matter how hard we try! You saw how thick those doors are, right?" The old man smiled and continued leading them towards a certain place deep inside the vault as Urie called out for his younger brother to follow them.
Arie immediately ran towards them as he tugged his big brother's clothes.
"Can't we ask them to give us just a few of these treasures? It could help us in this game for a long time!" Arie suggested.
"We can't, if I remember correctly, players can't touch a town's treasury not unless they have partial ownership of the said town!" Urie explained as he gave a handful of gold to Arie and instructed him to stash it to his inventory.
Arie heed to his brother's instruction as he tried to store the gold in his inventory when an interface popped out in front of him bearing a warning.
[Warning!]
[Asheville treasury cannot be claimed. The player doesn't possess an (Ownership) title!]
"Oh! That's what you meant!" Arie said as he threw the few golds back to the pile and followed the old man together with his brother.
"But in the future, it's possible to possess this treasure, right?" Arie asked as Urie replied with a smile and nodded.
"Let's plan for that later. For now, we need to focus on getting stronger so that we can proceed according to plan!" Urie said at the exact time as they reached a temple-like structure inside the vault.
They examined the structure when they found out that the structure houses only 2 items.
"What are these? They look so cool!"
