Chapter 6 - 6 Baragon and Angin Appears

Urie and Arie looked back and saw the holes on the ground suddenly disappeared and were changed into a large curvy surface with shiny ores on it and an angry-looking head is poking below it.

"What's that? It's big!" Arie exclaimed as he saw the turtle-like beast in front of him.

It has sharp claws like Boku has, but the most distinct feature of it is its shiny shell with different ores on it.

Urie observed the beast and saw the floating interface and examined it.

[Baragon, Earth-Steel Class]

[Description: A beast usually living 100 meters below the ground where ores are usually found.

Because of its unusual diet, ores started sprouting from its shell.

If the holes made by the Bigus and Bokus were fully covered, they will surface and find the possible perpetrator of the incident.

Pre-Evolution: Boku

Next Evolution: (Final)

Strengths: Ore Bursts, Steel Body

Weaknesses: Root Bind

Likes: Any Ore

Dislikes: Any Herb]

When Urie saw this, sweat profusely poured down from his forehead because he knew that the Baragon knew that they were the one who covered the holes with Slime King's Sludge Flood.

Urie took out a card and threw it out. A small green bird re-emerged.

"Hanin, use Air Pressure to support Hagin's High Speed Movement!" Urie ordered as Hanin flew up and blew a strong wind towards Hagin.

Hagin dived as it pointed its beak towards the Baragon's head.

The Baragon moved a bit and made the Hagin hit one of the ore on its back instead of its head.

It angrily looked at Urie and Arie as it scratched its long sharp claw against the ground like how the bull does when in front of a matador.

It charged towards Urie, but Hanin and Hagin blocked its trajectory. It threw the two back towards the tree behind Urie and ran towards where the two birds landed.

"Hanin! Hagin!" He exclaimed as soon as he reached the two unconscious beasts and examined them.

He looked at the two's interface and saw an unfamiliar word under their names.

[Hanin, Air Grass Class]

HP:0/100

[Status: Unconscious]

Urie tried to return them into their card form, but an interface appeared in front of him.

[Can't return a beast to card form when a [Status] is currently active!]

When Urie saw this he slumped and carried the two unconscious birds and looked at the large turtle-like beast in front of him.

"Slime King, I trust you that you can do this!" Urie muttered when a loud screech echoed and a large green bird with pink leafy feathers on its neck appeared.

It landed on the tree as it saw the unconscious Hanin and Hagin.

Its eyes blazed as it looked at Urie, who also looked at it as he pointed towards Baragon.

The enormous bird looked at the massive turtle as it swept towards the turtle and clawed it.

The green bird landed in front of Urie as if it was protecting Urie.

Because of this, Urie has the chance to look at its interface.

[Angin, Air-Grass Class]

[Description: This majestic leafy bird has long fan-like tails that can easily attach towards the ground, absorbing nutrients from the soil like a plant.

Its pink leaf-like feathers on its neck opens when threats against young ones are present.

They can be as vicious as an eagle when it sees that a Hanin or Hagin was injured.

Pre-Evolution: Hagin

Next Evolution: (Final)

Strengths: Paralytic Dust, Root Bind

Weaknesses: Flame related skills

Likes: Paradorum Fruit

Dislikes: Macaronia Grape]

While it was standing, it flapped its tail towards the ground as vines started creeping on the ground from one of its tail feathers.

It flew and left the tail feather on the ground as roots started emerging under the Baragon, leaving it immobilized.

Angin flew, and with every flap of its wings and fan-like tail, a massive amount of yellow dust fell on the Baragon as it stopped moving.

Angin landed on Baragon's shell as it started pecking the beast's head mercilessly.

"I'm sorry, but I need to do this to complete my quest!" Urie silently apologized as he stepped closer.

"Slime King, use Sludge Flood and aim it above Angin!" Luis ordered as the troop of green, blue, and pink slimes started spewing sticky sludge towards the two.

Angin became aware as it tried to escape, but the golden Slime King bounced towards the sunlight and wobbled.

A bright flash of light blinded the two beasts, making them confused.

[New Skill Discovered!]

[Golden Flash: The golden fluid structure of the Slime King makes it capable to reflect and refract any light source it can use to blind and confuse the enemies.]

The confused moment of the two is enough for them to be caught in the sludge barrage and render the both of them immobile.

He walked closer to the two beasts and touched them, using his hands where the Slime Gloves were equipped as he activated the Tame All You Want skill.

The Baragon suddenly became frightened while the Angin looked at him confused.

"If you come with me, you can take care of those two!" Urie stated while pointing towards the two unconscious birds.

The gigantic bird in front of him nodded.

"Capture Crystal, activate!" Urie exclaimed as a bright light flashed against the two as they turned into cards.

The gloves shot two strings as it pulled the cards to him.

"Woah! So that's how it works!" Urie exclaimed while keeping the two cards.

"So this is how the legendary Pet Collector of all games plays using pets!" Arie silently praised his brother as he approached him.

"Brother, can I ask you a question?" Arie asked.

"What is it? Is it something important?" Urie asked.

"You know that you don't need to shout just to activate the crystal, right?" Arie asked while one of his hands was on his hips.

"Brother, you should know how dramatic action works! You're ruining the mood!" Urie responded with a frown on his face.

[Clan Quest]

[Be the Greatest Tamer! Collect all the beasts around the Town of Beginnings!

Urie checked his quest log and saw that he's one beast away to complete the quest.

"There's only one beast left, where could it be?" Urie thought as he tried to look around the forest again but could find the possible beast.

"Check the Town of Beginnings page and see what is the rarity and which beast is it close to, we can probably have an idea on where to find it?" Arie suggested.

Urie opened the Compendium and saw that an Uncommon Card is missing between the Green Slime and the Moss Cow.

"Hmm… Probably back at the meadows? Let's go back?" Urie asked.

"We have nothing else to do here, right? Then let's go!" Arie responded as they walked back to the meadows where the Moss Cow beasts are abundant.

"So, what exactly are we finding?" Arie asked.

"Probably a Grass Class beast," Urie guessed while looking at his Compendium.

"Why did you say so?" Arie asked.

"The empty slot has a green empty name plate, if you observe the card plates, they are color coded based on each Class the beasts have," Urie showed his Compendium to his brother and pointed to the name plates of the beasts and the empty one.

While the two are discussing, something fast passed between them moving under the grass.

"That's probably it!" Arie exclaimed as he summoned Hanin and let it observe from high in the air.

Urie tapped his brother's shoulder and walked in the direction where the beast was going.

While walking, he summoned Hagin, which was woken by Angin by fanning them with Paralytic Dust.

"Hagin, go find that beast using your High Speed Movement and when you see it, use Paralytic Dust around it!" Urie commanded as the bird flew fast towards the direction where the grass was moving oddly.

Hagin moved in a circle as Urie, and Arie ran after the flying beast.

They approached Hagin, which was already standing at a spot beside an open patch of grass.

From there, they saw a green ant twitching and an information interface.

[Blitzeaf, Grass Class]

HP 150/150

[Status: Paralyzed]

[Description: A type of insect beast that doesn't work in a colony. They blitz through the grass to find seeds dropped by flying beasts.

When in a greeny, it can move as fast as a train.

Weakness: Paralysis-inducing skills

Likes: Any kind of seed

Dislikes: Any kind of meat]

"Go on, brother! Capture it so we can move on to the next area!" Arie urged.

Urie took the Capture Crystal and lightly tapped it.

[Beast Captured!]

[Blitzeaf, Grass Class]

Urie ignored the other information as he stored the card in his Compendium.

Urie read the notifications and then checked the reward he got.

"This is interesting!"
