Chapter 46 - Demonstration

~~~(Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Nal Hutta Cantina)~~~

As the nuclear warhead continues heading towards the cantina that I'm currently standing in. I stare at the group of angry men and women that have been after me. I didn't even know I had people after me once I destroyed Ryloth. "You're the first group of people that I've come across looking to avenge what happened on Ryloth. You should've stayed away." I lift my left hand, and the area shakes. In the next second, the roof to the cantina is ripped off, and I throw it onto another part of the town crushing some huts. This causes lots of people to run out of the cantina.

I look towards the missile, and it's quickly closing in. I point my left hand towards it, and it freezes in place. Even though the rockets are still on, it's not moving. "You son of a Hutt!!" The leader pulls out his hidden blaster and shoots at me. The bolts freeze before they hit me. I look at him and feel his desperation. I lift my left hand, and I send the missile into space with my grip on it. It blows up at a safe distance, and no one is hurt. The power of the force can't be competed with by a nuclear missile. It's impossible.

The Twi'lek continues to shoot at me, hoping that one of the bolts gets through. I lower my left hand now that I'm done with the missile. I raise my right hand and sends the blaster bolts right back at it. He alone gets pelted by bolts. I directed them to make sure he's the only one to die. The only female Twi'lek screams in horror and grabs his limp body, trying to shake him awake. "You're a monster!!" The woman screams her insult at me, and he looks at me with tears in her eyes. He brought this on himself. I lift all of them with the force and pin them against the wall.

I walk over to them and stare the female Twi'lek in her eyes. "What happened on Ryloth all those years ago still haunts me, but not because I destroyed the planet. I lost the only people I still cared about and in my rage... Your world was destroyed. Move on, I did." I drop them, and they all take deep breaths. I can sense her hate for me has grown, but her fear even more. She'll never come after me, not like her dead love. I walk over to his body and see the many burn marks covering him from the many blaster bolts that hit him.

I leave the cantina and look back at it. The roof is completely gone. I make my way towards my ship and think about the many things I still have to prepare on Tatooine. Both the Empire and Republic know it's a place they don't come to. Many ships are in orbit around Tatooine after I destroyed them. It's a sign to all of them to never come near me. Once their spies see the fleet that isn't being destroyed, they'll start to question many things. By then, my fleet will be ready, and my campaign against the Imperials will start.

My ship hums to life as I influence it with the force, and I enter it. I make my way to the cockpit, and I fly the ship off Nal Hutta. I set my destination for Tatooine, and I enter Hyperspace. It will be a few days until I reach Tatooine, so I can use this time to go over my targets in Imperial space. The Imperial world of Ziost is key in my campaign. It has valuable military intelligence, and I'm going to make that my frontier. My base of operations while in Imperial space. After I'm done with everything on Ziost, I'll leave that world and head to my next target.

I'm sensing the Empire and the Republic growing more and more powerful as time goes on. Their forces are bolstering and soon the cold war will be over. Imperials will reignite their attacks and stop hiding in the shadows. The military forces of the Republic won't have to obey the treaty of Coruscant since it'll be void once Imperials start the war back up. The Empire will have a distinct advantage. They don't have a senate and democracy to make their decisions. They can wage as much war as they want, and nothing will stop that.
