Arima was still staring at me with a contempt look that it's making me uncomfortable. Since I can't take it anymore, it forced me to break the silence between us.
"Oi, Arima. Are you going to say anything?"
"Are you an angel?"
"Where did that come from?"
"Ah, nothing. I'm just too happy. I don't know if you're really the cause of it, but if it's really you, then you have my greatest gratitude."
"I did nothing. She just explained some stuff to me and scolded her a little."
"Regardless of that, you still have my thanks."
Arima's mouth curved upwards, letting out a little chuckle. His face tells that the outcome of my talk with her childhood friend earlier signifies an immense satisfaction to him. Though, I don't know what she said to him.
"What did she even said to you?"
"She said, 'Sorry.' in a text message."
"That's all?"
"Yeah. I'm satisfied with it."
