Chapter 211 - All-Father

Thomas sat cross-legged on the floor of his room, the silver hammer resting in his hands. It wasn't the most powerful weapon he had ever wielded, but there was something undeniably intriguing about it. Despite its lack of spiritual energy, he could feel a subtle pulsation emanating from within, as if the hammer itself possessed a beating heart.

Lost in thought, Thomas absentmindedly tapped the hammer against the palm of his hand, pondering the events of the past few days. Spending time with his mother had been a welcome reprieve from the chaos of his duties. They had visited the amusement park, indulged in movie marathons, and embarked on impromptu trips to neighboring cities, creating cherished memories as a family.

As the weekend drew to a close, Thomas reluctantly bid farewell to his loved ones. He accompanied his mother to the Demon City Police Department, dropping her off at work in his shuttle before exchanging heartfelt goodbyes. With a heavy heart, he watched as his family faded from view, a sense of longing tugging at his soul.

With a deep sigh, Thomas powered up his shuttle and set a course for the Demon Domain along with Nova, Aunt Lulu and Kallana. The battle for the demon sovereign loomed on the horizon, and he knew he had to return to fulfill his duties. As the stars streaked past outside the shuttle's window, Thomas braced himself for the challenges that lay ahead, determined to emerge victorious in the trials to come.

As Thomas made a quick stop at Zeria, he was greeted by Lulu's family with warm smiles and open arms. Lulu's mother, a gentle yet strong presence, enveloped Thomas in a tight hug, her eyes brimming with affection. "Thomas, it's been too long," she exclaimed, holding him at arm's length to inspect him. "You look well."

Thomas returned the hug warmly, feeling a surge of nostalgia wash over him. "It's good to see you guys," he replied with a genuine smile. "And thank you. I've been keeping busy."

Lulu's father, the burly lion with a hearty laugh, clapped Thomas on the back, his grin wide and infectious. "Busy is an understatement, my boy!" he boomed jovially. "Come on in, we've got a feast waiting for you!"

The lively atmosphere of Lulu's family home immediately lifted Thomas's spirits as he followed them inside. The scent of home-cooked meals filled the air, and the sound of laughter echoed through the halls.

Lulu's sisters followed by a pair of recently born twins, who were quick to swarm around Thomas, bombarding him with questions and playful banter. "Thomas, Thomas, did you bring us any souvenirs from your travels?" they chimed in unison, their eyes twinkling with excitement.

Thomas chuckled, ruffling their hair affectionately. "Sorry, girls, I didn't have time to pick up any souvenirs this time," he replied apologetically. "But I promise I'll bring you something next time."

Nana couldn't contain her excitement as she practically bounced on her toes. "Thomas, are you going on another adventure?" she asked eagerly, her eyes wide with anticipation.

Thomas smiled indulgently at Nana's enthusiasm. "Not this time, Nana," he replied gently, crouching down to her eye level. "But I'll tell you all about my latest adventures if you promise to keep them a secret."

Nana nodded eagerly, her eyes shining with excitement. "I promise, Thomas! I won't tell anyone!"

As the lively chatter continued, Thomas felt a pang of guilt gnaw at him. He knew he couldn't stay long, but he couldn't bear to disappoint Nana and the rest of Lulu's family.

Before he could dwell on it further, Nova timidly stepped out from behind Thomas, her small hand clutching onto his pant leg. "Um, hi," she whispered shyly, her cheeks flushing pink.

Nana's eyes widened in surprise as she caught sight of Nova. "Who's this?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Thomas smiled fondly at Nova, a swell of pride swelling in his chest. "This is Nova," he introduced proudly, gently nudging her forward. "She's my daughter."

Nana's jaw dropped in astonishment along with her whole family, their eyes widening in disbelief. "Your daughter?!" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with awe. "Wow, she's so cute!"

Nova giggled softly, her shyness melting away as she stepped closer to Nana. "Are you my aunty?" she asked innocently, her eyes wide with curiosity.

Nana's heart melted at Nova's question, and she knelt down to Nova's level, wrapping her in a warm embrace. "Yes, sweetie, I'm your aunty Nana," she replied softly, her voice thick with emotion. "And I'm so happy to meet you."

Tears welled up in Lulu's mother's eyes as she watched the heartwarming exchange between Nana and Nova. "She's beautiful, Thomas," she murmured, her voice choked with emotion. "You're truly blessed."

As night settled in and Thomas prepared to drift off to sleep, a notification from the system jolted him awake.

The changes were extensive, with the most notable being the evolution of skills such as speed into Godspeed and the merging of and into . Additionally, the acquisition of new skills like and added to Thomas's arsenal of abilities.

However, one skill stood out to Thomas as particularly perplexing—the skill. He couldn't recall how he acquired it, but its description gave him pause.

All-father: Instant knowledge of every newborn within his domain, granting him insight into their well-being and development. Ability to adjust fertility rates within his domain and bless those who struggle to conceive, offering them the gift of fertility so they may bear children. These blessed children, born through the intervention of the All-Father, carry a special blessing bestowed by Thomas himself and a trace of his divine blood, imbuing them with strength and resilience from birth.

While the skill held great potential, Thomas couldn't help but feel a sense of unease at the implications of his newfound ability. As the "father" of all future humans and potentially other beings, he realized the weight of responsibility that came with it. With a resigned sigh, he accepted his fate as he went back to bed and having a nightmare of hearing billions of people of all age groups calling him dad.

****************

A wakening, a bit unsettled from his dreams. Thomas heard to the soft sound of Nova's breathing. Gazing at his daughter sleeping peacefully, he couldn't help but smile. She was his greatest treasure, a constant reminder of the love and responsibility he carried as a father.

Leaving Nova to rest, Thomas made his way to the Necrosphere so he could do some training.

As he wandered through the palace, Thomas's thoughts drifted to his own powers. Despite his best efforts, he still hadn't reached his full potential since becoming one with Gaea. He had spent months honing his abilities, but there was still a lingering uncertainty about his limits.

It was a strange feeling, knowing that he held such immense power within him yet feeling unsure of how to fully unleash it. He knew that his connection to the Primordial Heart of Sin played a significant role in his abilities, but there were still aspects of it that remained a mystery to him.

As he walked, Thomas took the opportunity to converse with some of the deities he encountered along the way. The palace felt quieter without the presence of the children of Gaea, but Thomas appreciated the chance to interact with the other gods and goddesses of the system's first and second layers.

Finding himself at the edge of the palace, Thomas took a moment to gather his thoughts. Closing his eyes, he delved deep into his Primordial Heart of Sin, exploring the depths of his power. Despite the vastness of his sin force, Thomas couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't as dense as that of the Demon Sovereign or the other inhabitants of the Seven Sins Palace.

He understood that his relatively pure nature made it challenging to amass sin force to higher levels. Instead, he relied on his ability to wield multiple sin forces, a skill that set him apart from others.

On the other hand, Thomas's divinity was exceptionally pure, a fact that both intrigued and puzzled him. He often found himself listening to prayers in his name or sensing when someone spoke of him. According to his memories, these were common experiences for those in the early stages of divinity.

Testing his powers, Thomas channeled each of the seven sin forces before tapping into the Primordial Sin Force. With a surge of energy, he transformed into a towering titan avatar, his form adorned with demonic horns, tails, and six pairs of scaly wings.

Unleashing powerful attacks, Thomas aimed his fury at the mountains in the distance. With each strike, the landscape trembled, and mountains crumbled, causing massive destruction. But even as chaos reigned, Thomas felt a sense of exhilaration coursing through him but this was just the start.
