Chapter 175 - Moonlight

Thomas and Lulu had been travelling through space for three days, and finally, they arrived at the third planet of the Ceil System, the Ceilea Star. As they approached, Thomas warned Lulu to be careful, as they didn't know what kind of security measures were in place in this large-scale world.

"Lulu. We will be arriving shortly, so be careful as we don't know how's the security in a large-scale world."

"I know," Lulu nodded in agreement and looked out at the gray dot in space, wondering if it was Ceilea. "Brother, is that Ceilea? I can feel something incredibly powerful down there."

"I feel it too." She felt a powerful energy emanating from the planet, and Thomas noticed it too. He used his energy sensor skill to detect a large, violet ball of light glowing on the planet's surface.

'For my energy sensor to pick this energy signature from outer space can't be a coincidence.'

Very quietly, Thomas contacted the demon lord Kez'ganak to ask for his opinion. "Kez, is this energy any familiar to you?"

[Indeed, it feels slightly familiar but I can't be fully sure. I need to see the source of that energy personally to know.]

"Not a problem then, let's find out."

Suddenly, Thomas lessened the energy output to the engines, heavily decreasing the speed. "We just received an audio transmission, let's open the channel."

Surprising enough, the demon realm used a radio frequency his wrist computer could pick up.

"They are telling us they just validated our identities and that we are free on land on planet. I'm picking up coordinates to a docking station on a city named Moonlight"

"It's fine, I trust in you, brother."

Soon, Thomas and Lulu descended upon the planet's surface and headed towards of the three cities.

Shortly after descending, Thomas and Lulu came upon a giant floating continent unlike anything they had seen.

"Wow, it's huge!" Lulu scratched her eyes to make sure that what she was seeing was real. Thomas was equally amazed by the sight and felt a strange pull towards the city.

It stood majestically atop a floating continent, its towering spires and gleaming white walls shining bright in the planet's shimmering light.

The city's architecture was a blend of ancient and modern styles, with soaring towers and sweeping arches that reached towards the sky. Some of the buildings had curved, organic shapes that seemed to mimic the flowing forms of the clouds, while others were angular and geometric, displaying a more futuristic design.

As visitors approached the city, they would see it surrounded by a ring of light that appeared as if they were clinging to the edges of the continent. These light glowed with a soft, silver light, creating an ethereal and mystical atmosphere around the city.

....

At the ends of the universe, a majestic flying palace loomed over the nine planes, and the nine silver eyes that hovered over them provided a constant reminder of the power that the Silver-Eyed Sovereign wielded.

Despite how majestic it may seem, it was far from all. nine silver eyes hovered each of the nine planes, these eyes opened giant breaches in the fabric of the universe from where it would devour the souls of any living being who died on any of the planes.

The Rift at the material world per example was the one with most movement, trillions of souls all falling into the depths of that Mystic Eye. Most souls completely oblivious to everything while others struggled and tried to escape with all their strength, but without success.

Inside the palace, a handsome yet delicate-looking humanoid being sat onto a throne. Long white hair cascading down the ground as a pair of close eyes peered beyond the void.

Suddenly he slowly opened both eyes only to reveal glass-like pupils overflowing with light.

His eyes, once open were like a gaping breach in the fabric of the universe, ready to devour the souls of any living being who died on any of the planes.

"That one kid hasn't let this Sovereign down. His soul is the purest and with the greatest potential in this cosmic domain, a pity he's too weak for now so this Sovereign can only wait. Feeding on his soul now would bring the least benefits to me so. The only thing that concerns me is that familiar scent he gives off. It reminding's me of that person..." The Silver-Eyed Sovereign though of something then smiled. "It's about time I dealt with those other guys at the Immortal Realm."
