One month after parting from Zeria, the Shuttle finally left the through a dimensional rift appearing in the middle of empty space.
Surrounded by complete lack of anything, Thomas stared at a light screen in front of him before turning to Lulu at the backseat.
"The sensors are showing we arrived at the target, right outside the demon domain. It would be great if we could get there right away but I heard from a friend the rift's there are all heavily guarded in case of outsiders invading so we better stick to low profile."
Lulu biting onto a red crystal fruit Thomas found while browsing the system store a little while ago. It provide enough nutrients for a whole month which made it quite a great substitute for a ration. It also had a 0,0001% change of bestowing an unique physique called Crystal Blood.
While far from a celestial-level physique that would everything from energy to body and soul, this physique only changed the property of one's blood giving it the ability to change freely into crystal or liquid form.
For Thomas, this Crystal Blood Physique wasn't of great importance since he already has plans of rebuilding his physique and make it even greater than before.
Thomas was done with the final preparations and proceeded while looking at a small green and white planet. This was a visual depiction of the demonic domain and its many stars, all seen from Lumine's long-range sensors and made into a star chart.
This hologram contained only celestial bodies within a certain distance from his current location. Ikan Vask or simply Ikan is the last planet in it's system and also the most distant planet within this side of the demon domain.
After arriving in the demon domain, one thing Thomas immediately noticed that the outside of the stars were different from what he was told.
That was not a problem though, it was already expected that with space is continuous movement the hundreds of years old coordinates he got from Kez would be a little off.
After exploring a little bit, Kez'ganak's voice resounded in his mind. "Huh? It does seem we are indeed not in the Sonad Family's territory and neither the sun demon sector. Instead, we must have arrived at the Icewind System one of the moon demon's systems that makes border with the sun demons."
After that Kez gave a more detailed description of the demon domain.
First what that for thousands of years, the demon domain is divided into Four Dominions each ruled by one of four factions. The Society in the east, the South's Peak, the Eastern River and the West Cult.
Above the big four stood the overlord, the greatest entity in charge of everything in the domain, the central sector's Seven Sins Demon Palace.
In every dominion's territory, there is a total of ten sectors with each sector contained between three to twenty star systems. Of course, this wasn't an hegemony and all forces were given freedom to fight for resources and lands within the star sectors.
The Sonad Empire per example is a mid-sized force ruled by descendants of a powerful demon clan. With two emperors in it's rankings, this family was quite influent with the inner circles but even so their entire land is only a thirty percent of the Orange Sun Sector that is in the external border of Southern Peak.
Above them stood many other families, more than dozens of thousands within the same level, that is not counting with the demon palace and the ten thousand demon clans as well the direct descendants of the ancient demons.
In the Southern Peak, the command was divided between the sun and moon demons
"I'm having Lumine find us a nice place to stop by. Let me see... The nearest planet from here is Ikan Vask."
Given it's location, it's a somewhat desolate place without many experts. In a couple seconds, Lumine made a complete scan of that specific planet and sent all the results to Thomas.
"Yeah, everything looks fine. The air has non-toxic components and the atmosphere is very much like Zeria. "
Now with everything set, Thomas waited until the Ark was full of sunlight before infusing his own divinity into the artifact which then burst into a ray of light.
As expected, crossing the border into the demon domain was very easy and met without any resistance.
After getting into the space zone of the demon domain it was very quick and soon a large greenish brown planet could be seen from afar.
"Wow!" Lulu suddenly shot up from her chair, eyes gazing at the brilliant and solitary gem in space. "It's so different from my world, is that Ikan?"
"Yes it is. According to my friend, most demons settle in planets barely suited for life but sometimes are exception such as this one. Being only one third the size of your Zeria, this world houses over one million demon and more than a hundred million demonic beasts. Here the moon attribute is the most prominent one, as well a couple water and ice demons. Of course, the information I have is outdated so there's a possibility things have changed over the years."
.....
As soon they approached the perimeter of the planet, Thomas senses surrounded the whole planet. From all the scenes he was presented, one particular brought his attention.
Here there were no big cities, and the demon clans that lived here were all spread out.
But what truly called his attention was a mystical place filled with ice particles that formed a huge spiral towards the sky. Bellow it is a endless plain covered in grayish snow.
'This thing is most certain an anomaly.' So thought Thomas before focusing his attention elsewhere.
Two demons, barely counted as demon lords seemed to be fighting in this Icy Plains.
landing on a deserted place near the white lands, Thomas turned back to Lulu. "Great, the atmosphere here is not that bad. We should split up, I'll be looking for some info on the demon realm with one of the clans. As for you... There's a lot of demonic beasts here and all are very weak, you can try to help me find anything "
"Just me?" Lulu turned to him in shock, "Brother, won't you go with me?"
"I have to get information. You can play with the demonic beasts as you wait, they can't hurt you anyway. If my guess is right, we can't travel deeper within the demon domain without some kind of identification."
"Fine, I'll be waiting." Leaving at that, Lulu delved into the forest and vanished. Seeing her leave, Thomas was calm as he headed to the opposite direction without a worry in his mind.
