If for a moment, Thomas was angry, now he understood even the sage had become an Wraith, he was now pitting the old man instead.
After all he felt how strong was the baleful aura's influence and the dark heart which was beyond the realm of all deities in the first layer. It didn't belong to this universe but if it did it would be an object worthy of the higher realms from where the deities of the 2nd and 3rd layer originate from.
"You know, Who cares if you are a wraith? It doesn't matter to me, I have something else to deal with." Old Sage remained still, his eyes with a glint of expectation when Thomas suddenly turned his back to him and walked away.
"What?!" Being ignored by his target and treated as no big deal only ignited his inner self, fully awakening the true demon inside him.
Wraaaahh!
The sage body than expanded, transforming into a giant green monster with a single, towering horn even taller than it's own body.
"YOU ONLY LEAVE WHEN I SAY YOU CAN LEAVE!"
All the Greed Sin Force shone down from above, instantly shrouding Thomas within. Fearsome destructive power assaulted him and began to furiously dissolve his body.
Following that, a huge claw came flying straight at him.
"The Archis is mine!!!"
The green monster bared its fangs and charged straight towards Thomas.
However, it was at this moment that the white shadow appeared beside Thomas and intercepted the monster with a palm strike and a kick at it's neck.
Sin Force was fully mobilized by the monster and it formed a protective layer at the last moment before being hit.
"Kaboom!" A strange power crashed onto the Greed Force and instantly broke it. A terrifying strength crashed onto the green monster and it groaned with pain, blood splashing out of his mouth.
Hiss!! The giant creature let out a hideous hiss and fled while feeling ashamed.
His plan was to wait until Thomas and Arthorias fought and act when one or both of them were distracted but now everything went wrong he could only escape.
And only at that moment did notice something about his surroundings. 'huh? This is not the forest anymore. Where am I?"
Before he could get any answers, five shadows fell from above and landed a couple meters away.
"Stop right there, a lowly demon like you is not worthy the effort for our Lord God." Thomas was nowhere to be seen. The Sage was surprised, turned around and saw a terrifying new figure was standing there, a white-clad man with a hood.
'What?' The white, the sage still retained some of his mind and at that moment he shaken by what he's seeing.
"Keep him occupied for me."
Thomas voice echoed in air and vanished while leaving no traces whatsoever.
"Acknowledged!" The White Shadow took off his hood revealing a white-haired young man of healthy bronze skin, but there was something else.
"As I servant of our lord gods will, I, number 4 will accomplish my duty." Number 4 gritted his teeth, bright particles flew everywhere.
The man suddenly burst with unpresented light-attribute, so dense it formed a pillar of light extending towards the sky.
While Thomas' light attribute scared him, he only tried his chance because he knew of the Archis formidably and thought it would weaken the young man's light alignment. The second reason was the Sin Force he refined, it was a higher grade of energy than demonic energy and a lot more resilient to it's opposing attributes like Light.
Light attribute per example shouldn't give anything more than a scratch. The pillar of light-attribute in front of him was different, thought.
While it was done by somebody else, it contained the same aura of Thomas which made him even more suspicious.
As If one of them wasn't enough, numerous white eyes emerged from the shadows, all of which seemed to focus only on him and erupted with a similar bright power.
Seeing so many enemies at once, all possessing the same aura, the sage finally cowered. recording his senses, he hurriedly stepped back.
"So many Light Attribute User? What in hell is happening?'
While he was still confident in his Sin Force, the amount of enemies in the area was certainly a bit too much.
"F*ck, F*ck, F*ck!" While trying to escape, the Sage couldn't understand how was Thomas able to pull out so many of these disgusting light-element people. They didn't even felt like demons at all, yet possesses humanoid body like Thomas.
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!
There was only one problem, the bright-eyed people within the shadows wouldn't let he escape that easily.
Luminous shards were shot from behind, some of which managed to pierce through the Sage's body.
"AHHH!" The light attribute burned his body from inside out and the pain he felt was unbearable.
While Sin Force was powerful, The Sage's Sin Force is not authentic and neither the most pure. He also had no way of knowing these people were infused with Divinity instead of a simple light-based energy.
Divinity is an energy on par with Sin Force and given Thomas' is a pure, authentic energy bestowed by the system.
That simple attack of Divinity was enough to dissipated most of the Sin Force refined in his body.
'Oh dear me... I need to leave here now! While still unsure of where in hell is he, the sage completely lost all thoughts of fights and felt he need to escape even more.
The green monster shot itself backwards at astonishing speeds, but no matter how far away it got the sage noticed he couldn't leave this cursed place at all.
Bang! A lightning strike move towards him. Suddenly a rumble, all essence within the earth causes a quake as the sky trembled!
Rumbling...
The Sage only felt a fist hit him, a fist that made the whole world shake.
Following that, several ruminant shockwaves left by the punch ignited within his body. After another dozens vibrations, the old sage reverted into human form as he crashed from the sky rapidly.
His eyes then gazed upon the sky only to see a massive black hole instead of the familiar sight of the three suns of Zeira.
'This! This is not Zeira.'
"You are right." A voice echoed before another being appeared, a tall being encased in darkness kept silent and unmoving like a dead body but a cheerfully white-haired youth replied. "We are not in the outside world but inside Lord God's domain, Welcome to the Necrosphere."
