Chapter 151 - Back to the Deadlands

[Lulu, the Daemons in Aaron have been dealt by me.] (Thomas)

Lulu who was leading the way out of Aaron stopped the second she heard Thomas' voice. She turned back and noticed all those powerful breaths were nowhere to be felt.

She then looked at her two sisters, her mom and the other young beasts.

[Should we turn back and return?] (Lulu)

[No, go find the others in Xamak. You little sis Nana knows there so you will find it easily.] (Thomas)

This was the last thing Thomas said before cutting contact. Now things in Aaron has been taken care off, it was the time to see what the hell is this Archis all about.

Opened the old parchment paper, he found it was a map of Lavitein Isle. And upon seeing the markings of where Archis is sealed, all things became clearer.

"Sure enough it's in Deadlands." The place Thomas had crashed upon his arrival, a desert where beasts couldn't tread by any means.

Without wasting a second of time, Thomas left for the deadlands as fast he could. Close to zero living being inhabited the deadlands, with his current speed, three hours it took to more than half of the journey.

It was quite a letdown that the map didn't have any secret method of opened, invisible ink that one need to dip it in blood for the map to reveal itself nor there were any traps or problems along the way.

True, for anyone else being it a demon or beast, just walking all the way here would be incredibly difficult. The heat of the three suns is enough to burn over eighty percent of demons to ash, Sun Demons would fare better but still suffer in the long run from excess of energy which could cause one to explode.

Only as a titan was he completely immune to all of that so a journey that would take long weeks, if not months to traverse the deadland turned into a mere seven-hour walk.

Soon, Thomas arrived at the place indicated in the map without any difficulties but there was nothing in there.

This continued for a coupe second when he belt the key in his pocked to heat up. The unknown metal which was made of turned very hot and following that the whole surroundings changed. No, it was more like a veil which clouded his eyes had been lifted and the reality revealed itself.

Before was a huge crater, with a diameter of no less than a eighteen thousand meters from where he's standing. There were also smaller holes from with water was spit out, forming waterfalls which fell down the crater.

Wait, it's not water but a deep purple fluid which from far shone like precious gemstones.

WIth each step he approached, the skies changed colors to purple and the three suns were nowhere to be seen.

The scenery before his eyes was a wondrous sight to behold.

Feeling no danger from the current circumstances, he descended to the bottom of that crater and what he found down there was definitely something he would not expect.

A very big object wad laid before his eyes. Surprising enough it wasn't made of metal or anything he's ever known. It's shape was also very curious, from afar it would look like a tower but now he's close he noticed it now looked like a square.

Reaching out with his hands, Thomas touched it's outer shell and almost immediately a door opened as if to guide him inside.

The more he got to see more was Thomas assured this thing turn out to be some kind of very old structure whose use is still a mystery.

Right away, he noticed that unlike the outside which was very old and decayed. The insides looked a little bit better with the exception of all the dust clouding his eyes.

Thomas got to explore this vessel for quite a while before discovering what seemed to be the main hall of an palace now in ruins.

After seeing all of that, he was now very confused. "Is this the Archis?"
