As soon the grains of the luminous sand fell upon the melted metal, the whole furnace exhaled countless particles of light.
With the help of his energy forming a force field surrounding the mass of melted mess, he was able to easily control it's internal temperature as well helping it's contents mix in well.
For a moment, Thomas carefully considered something before throwing in a small piece of the strengthened copper.
Looking closely, this method of merging different metals looked pretty similar to the old Sage's pill refining.
But instead of melting medicine into medicinal fluid, it was liquid metal he was producing. Pressing the force field down, he ejected numerous drops of liquid metal but only the ones containing the majority of the impurity once gathered in the metals.
"Haaa!" Having the full control of everything within his energy field, Thomas extracted all the heat accumulated inside thus making the metal quickly cool down.
Booom!
The force field dissipated and twelve identical circular mirrors dropped on the grass. Those circular mirrors all around the size of a closed hand, they had no details nor any fancy design as this had been just the artifact's initial form.
Deep inside even Thomas was surprised with the rebuilt, copying the pill refining method from the Sage and applying it to forgery went way better than expected, working just like a 3d printer.
Now he went to polish each piece very carefully, letting it rest for ten minutes, applying a special mixture of herbs and melted gemstones he bough in the system store.
This mixture was to properly awake and prepare a piece of armament to be caved with runes.
The one he made was a recipe Kez told him using some simple herbs, one grinded ruby and three drops of sunlight/moonshadow demonic energy and some artic diamond dust.
Once ready, Thomas brushed each and every mirror with the mixture before infusing a drop of energy into his finger.
For now he didn't put in any runic formation, sticking only to the divine he knows.
Laell, Sok, Uphol, Qall!
Once the four runes of Amplification, Spirit, Light and Unity had completed Thomas had to rest as his sweated heavily.
"God, this is too much." Doing the runes in just one mirror was enough to completely exhaust him.
Getting up to his feet, Thomas held onto the first finished mirror. It's bright silver/grayish color was very beautiful, reflecting his face not as clear as the best mirrors on earth but it was certainly a work of art which would sell for millions.
"Analyze!"
Unnamed (Incomplete)
[Prometheus: Good work, this little thing came out better than I expected. The use of that alchemy technique to produce those twelve mirrors was quite smart.]
Thomas could barely hear Prometheus praise sound next to his ear and he also smiled lightly to himself.
Attack Power: 0 Defense: 540 Durability: 3220/3220
Effect: Absorbs and canalizes light attribute which can be utilized into numerous forms. The artifact is still incomplete so further information can't be provided.
The description the system gave for this piece was very small indeed. According to it, he will only see it's true description once all pieces are finalized.
Turning around, Thomas had a good look at the twelve pieces and stored them back before returning to the city.
For the next six days, Thomas would either spent his time with the Earthly Core Tribesman, Lulu and Nana or in his room carving the little runes in every mirror.
On the morning of the seventh day, Thomas had just finished the last mirror. With a ray of light the twelve mirrors lying on the floor all glowed in white light.
!!!!!!*
A loud beep sounded in the back of his mind as a notification appeared.
[Congratulations! An artifact powerful artifact has been created!]
[The "Unnamed" artifact is now "Unique"]
[The "Unnamed" artifact wants to form contract with it's creator. Y/N?]
Thomas was drawn back, he didn't expect the artifact to initiate the contract. Thomas immediately accepted without a second of hesitation. "Eh, yes!"

As expected, no, this artifact's power is much, much greater than he could imagine. True, everything he envisioned was in there, including the first two formations, one a cannon of pure light and a shield to protect against demon attacks.
'Should I think of a name?' Following the system's advise from before, he still needed to bestow the artifact with his blood to complete the contract, and he didn't even gave it a name yet.
"Fine!" Thomas cur the tip of his finger and threw drops of his blood fell upon each of the twelve mirrors which then all turned into rays of light that melted on his body.
"I, your creator bestow you the name of Luminous Ark, Lumine for short." Following his words, he felt a warm current flow in his body carrying feelings of contentment.
He could feel that despite lacking the intelligence of the yellow chain, this little mirror seemed to retain some sort of weak conscience, and it was quite satisfied by the name he chose despite being something he only thought on the spot.
