"CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP! WHAT DO WE DO, WHAT DO WE DO?!"
"I DON'T KNOW JACOBS AND THE YELLING ISN'T HELPING!"
"Moo?"
"Kehehehehe!"
While George was escorting Sarah to an...outside water closet, the situation back at camp was rapidly deteriorating.
Dorado and Jacobs were still bound together to the cage and could only watch as the baby minotaurs' rattle ballooned in size once more and taken on a python-like shape. Subtlety was thrown out the window the moment George left the premises, giving the mimic free reign to constrict Minos like he was a rat. The adorkable face he was making however made it rather difficult to give this moment the seriousness it deserved.
"Wait! Boss, haven't you had Crusher for years now?"
"Yeah, what of it?"
"Can't you do that uh...remote summon thing?"
"Are you crazy?! Only like one in a million tamers can do that kind of thing and I need to have at least line of sight with my disk, which is currently being sat on by a panda!," Dorado shouted back.
"Hiss!"
"Oh no!"
As Dorado and Jacobs kept arguing, the rattle mimic monster eventually stop constricting Minos and began to loom over him with his mouth wide open, ready to chow down. At this exact moment, George and Sarah returned.
"Alright now little lady, let's-WHAT IN TARNATION?!"
*CRUNCH!*
*CRACK!*
"MOOOOWAAAAHHHH!"

Jordie and Bessie came bolting towards the campgrounds, a cloud of dust and smoke in their wake. Both of them looked rather angry in that special "how dare you touch my kid" kinda way. They don't know what happened to Minos but if they found out the cause, there was going to be hell to pay.
"We're here!"
Bessie came to a grinding halt at Jordie's command. Using the momentum, Jordie leaped off of her back and rolled into a run.
This level of athelectism was unusual for Jordie, but he didn't have time to notice due to sheer paternal protective fury.
With his club fully drawn, Jordie rushed to Minos' aide!
"Alright! Who hurt my...kid...what the heck?"
"Oh thank the gods you're back!"
"Please get your kid to stop!"
"Why is there still teeth?!"
"MOOOOWAAAAHHHH!!!"
Evidently, Jordie was expecting Minos to be in dire straits that would end with bloodshed and fury.
Instead, he was greeted by the sight of a crying baby minotaur strangling a large silver snake thing with a bulbous head, swinging it around like a sack of potatoes and slamming it into the ground like it owed him money. George and Sarah were hiding behind a tree, while Dorado and Jacobs were peeking their heads up from the space between the cage wagon's bars, the wagon had been flipped to it's side at some point. This was somehow both adorable and terrifying at the same time.
Jordie stared in stunned silence, not noticing that Marianne and Molly had caught up with him and that the former was now standing by his side. She was also shocked.
"George, what the heck happened here?!"
"I don't-whoa!," George exclaimed as he dodged a sudden spray of rock and dirt, "Ask the guys in the cage!" Prompted by the statement, Jacobs spoke up first.
"Well that baby toy ya picked up for the baby minotaur-gah! Turned out to be a mimic or something and it tried to eat him."
"Yeah," Dorado added,"But that kid turned out to be indestructible or something, because the mimic ended up breaking it's teeth while trying to bite him."
"I'm sorry, break it's teeth?!" Marianne turned towards Jordie. "What are you feeding this baby?"
Jordie could only shrug in reply.
"The baby started freaking out and screaming after getting bit," Jacobs continued, "And next thing anyone knew, it grabbed the mimic by it's body and started throwing this tantrum!"
"Can you please get this baby to calm down before it ends up wrecking the whole camp?!," Sarah shouted before ducking back behind the tree as teeth suddenly pierced it like darts on a dartboard. Evidently, the mimic had a lot of teeth.
Minos kept flailing, screaming and crying as he kept an iron grip on the mimic snake. Every swing whistled through the air, a sign of the sheer amount of force being exerted by the baby minotaur.
"How are we going to get-"
"Hold this for me."
Jordie took off his backpack and immediately handed it to Marianne, stopping her inquiry mid-sentence. He then proceeded to do some quick stretches.
"What are you doing?"
"Calming my baby."
"How are you going to get close to...that?"
"Winging it."
"What?"
"WINGING IT!"
Jordie let out a shout as he ran towards the crying infant minotaur, basically disregarding the fact that he was still swinging an oversized mimic around like a whip.
"What the heck are you doing, boy?!'"
"Oop!"
The mimic came flying from the left side of Jordie, but he managed to dodge it by ducking low and literally sliding on the ground. It then came from the right at a low angle, but Jordie managed to hop in time to maintain his stride.
"Crap! It's coming down from on high!"
Unexpectedly, Minos somehow flailed his arms in such a manner that the mimic was now being swung down towards Jordie in an overhead arc. He didn't have enough time to dodge and he wasn't close enough to slide in and grab Minos.
"Look out!"
*Boom!*
A cloud of dust exploded as the mimic slammed into Jordie, blinding everyone in the vicinity. A chorus of coughs occured as people tried to get the dust out of their mouths. Thankfully it didn't take long for the dust to settle.
"Jordie! Are you o-what the heck?!"
"How, just how?"
"H-heavy!"
Everyone expected Jordie to either jump out of the way incoming swing or get crushed. Nobody expected him to stand his ground and somehow catch the mimic over his head. This had the (un) expected benefit of stopping Minos from causing collateral damage.
"MOOOWAAAH!"
"One-two, one-two, one-two!"
Jordie held onto the mimic as he made his way over to Minos, "climbing" it as a means to give his arms some respite while making sure Minos didn't swing the mimic around anymore.
"Annndd, scoop!"
Once Jordie got into range, he quickly let go of the mimic, grabbed Minos and shook off the baby minotaurs' grasp from the battered mimic. Jordie began to comfort Minos, while the mimic let out a whimpering groan after finally no longer being used as a weapon.
"MOOOWAAAH!"
"It's okay, it's okay, Papa's here, Papa's here..."
Evidently, everyone else just sorta stared on in shock at the series of events that had just occured.
"So...not only was the baby minotaur freakishly strong... it's tamer was also freakishly strong..."
"That appears to be the case, yes."
"...can we give up on capturing it now?"
