"What's going on with you? You're never like this." Adrien looked up at her, hesistant to what he was about to say, "Can you keep a secret?" Marinette watched in horror as the blonde lifted up his shirt. What.the.fuck. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A sad but cheerful Adrienette story. Be prepared for many plot twists, and many more surprises because I have a lot of things planned up my sleeves. Some smut in chapters, mostly sexual mentions, etc. There is abuse, verbal and physical violence (basically abuse, smh), explicit language, and many more things. [Viewers discretion is advised] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (I do not own any of the miraculous characters as they belong to Zagtoon Animations, but please enjoy the story). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 1 - chapter one

Marinette squirmed in her seat, waiting for the school day to be over with.

Tomorrow was Saturday, and Alya had arranged plans so that she could get the entire gang of friends to go to the movies together.

Of course, the only thing Marinette was focused on was going there with Adrien, but she liked the idea of Alya and Nino going as well, considering they were a couple.

Mme. Bustier called for the class to flip yet another page to the class's history books. Marinette sighed, looking up at the clock.

She looked forward at the blonde boy who was taking notes.

She sighed, going into a hazy daydream.

Why couldn't she just tell the boy that she liked him? Why can't she simply say what she means when around him?

"Marinette?

Can you please stop staring at Adrien? You're distracting yourself from learning.

Don't forget we have an exam on this on Monday.

" Mme.

Bustier said, looking back at the ravenette. Marinette sheepishly grinned at the teacher, a slight blush forming on her cheeks.

"So sorry." Marinette picked her pencil up and held it up to show that she was now ready to listen again.

"Is there her day that girl isn't staring at my man?"

Chloe said, popping her gum. Marinette shrunk in her seat, and Alya glared at the mayor's daughter.

"Last time I checked, Adrien's relationship status was single."

Alya crossed her arms, a smirk replacing her angry expression.

Adrien turned towards the brat,

"And I'd never been your man in a million years." He focused his attention back onto the board, not before slightly looking back at the embarrassed ravenette.

Chloe huffed, flipping her hair over her shoulder,

"Neither would Maritrash, but what am I to say?"

Chloe popped her gum once again.

Sabrina nodded her head,

"Yeah, Maritrash!"

Sabrina looked at Chloe, waiting for approval from Chloe for her same comeback, who only looked at her, face scrunched up from cringing so hard.

Adrien glared over at his childhood friend. Why did he ever become friends with her? Was it force?

Because he would never have the thought to befriend that.

Mme. Bustier clapped, gaining everybody's attention again,

"Enough with the insults. Let's focus so E this day can end quicker."

Everyone nodded in agreement and Mme.

Bustier happily got back to explaining a major event that took place when King Arthur III was running France.

The bell rang, and Marinette lunged out of her seat, leaving a confused Alya behind.

Usually, they walked togetherUsually they walked together to the bakery, but Marinette was too excited to pick out a cute outfit for tomorrow.

Alya gathered her stuff together as Nino waited for her at the door.

Adrien pulled his bag over his shoulder, giving Chloe a cold glare as she flirtishly smiled at him.

Chloe was taken aback, and Adrien left the classroom, giving Nino a fist bump before making his way to the black vehicle that sat in front of the school, with Nathalie waiting impatiently for Adrien to get to the car.

Adrien sighed as he walked to the car, getting in.

Nathalie closed the door for him, then seated herself in the passenger seat.

The "Gorilla", Adrien's bodyguard, drove off to the photoshoots area, and Adrien looked out the window, only to see Marinette making it into the bakery.

He smiled to himself, resting his head on his hand, as his arm laid lazily on the door's armrest.

Adrien never thought of Marinette more than a friend like that because of his undevoted love for Ladybug.

The sound of Ladybug's name in his head made him turn bright pink.

Nathalie looked at him in the rearview mirror, turning back to look at him,

"Adrien? Are you okay?"

She asked, face plain but a slight frown on her lips.

Adrien shifted to look at her, "Yeah, why?" He asked.

Nathalie adjusted her glasses, facing forward again,

"You were turning pink.

I thought you must have caught a cold." Adrien nodded, coughing into his arm, "Yeah, mayhem.

" Nathalie looked at him in the rearview mirror again, then looked out the window, fixing her glasses once again, for no reason.

"What's the theme for the photoshoot this time?" He asked, trying to clear his mind from the red-suited heroine.

Nathalie tapped her tablet, watching as it lit up with all of the information Gabriel had sent her for the photoshoot.

She scrolled through it, looking for the answer to Adrien's question,

"Winter themed."

She placed the tablet back into her lap, folding her hands, placing them onto the tablet.

Adrien raised an eyebrow, "It's the beginning of fall."

He said leaning forward as if he was talking face to face with Nathalie.

Nathalie glanced at him,

"I don't know, Adrien, but please relax before the photoshoot. I don't want anything to happen like last time.

" She said glancing out the car window once more.

Adrien sat back as the memory flowed into his head.

I"lash back" 1 Nathalie watched as Adrien yawned while taking a picture.

Vincent let his camera fall against his chest as he yelled at Adrien for yawning.

"Why are you yawning? You just got here!" Vincent yelled, lifting his camera again, getting ready to snap some more photos. Adrien silently apologized, looking over at Nathalie.

Nathalie typed something onto her tablet, and Adrien knew it was something bad as she only does that when she's taking notes on the photoshoot for his father Adrien like her normal expression

Adrien shrugged sheepishly.

"It was something new, Vincent said he wanted to see something new, and I gave him new!"

He exclaimed, grabbing the towel his bodyguard had brought over to him.

Adrien dried his hair and most of his clothes off the best he could and handed the towel back.

Nathalie typed something into her tablet once again, fixing her glasses,

"Let's just hope your father doesn't hear about this."

Nathalie turned away from Adrien, making her way to the car again.

Adrien shrunk into himself thinking of what was most likely to come when he got home.

He made his way to the car, dragging his feet with each step.

Adrien climbed into the car, wishing he didn't have to go home straight away.

Nathalie's phone started ringing, causing Adrien to flinch in his seat.

Nathalie pulled her work phone but, looking at the name. She sighed, picking up the phone, "Yes, Sir. Agreste?"

Adrien has never felt so scared in his life for Nathalie to pick up the phone.

Usually, Gabriel never called, but this time it was different. "What did my son do?" Gabriel asked, loud enough for Adrien to hear.

Adrien cringed in his seat.

He knew he fucked up. Nathalie looked at Adrien in the rearview mirror.

She sighed again before answering. "Your son had a good photoshoot except for his yawning in the middle of the shoot, and him getting drenched in water from doing something inappropriate in the fountain.

" You could hear Gabriel drop something on the other end of the phone,

"And what was this "inappropriate" thing he did!" Gabriel yelled into the phone,

Nathalie pulling the phone away from her ear.

Adrien clenched his chest, his heart almost beating furiously through it. Nathalie fixed her glasses,

"He jumped into the fountain, tossing water everywhere, getting himself drenched as well, Sr. Agreste." Adrien pulled on his hair, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

Nathalie glanced at the blonde, almost immediately feeling bad for him. Gabriel hung up, causing Nathalie to flinch away from the phone.

She placed the phone down, wiping her now sweating hands on her uniform pants.

Adrien was biting his nails, his knees pulled up to his chest.

Adrien shook with fear.

Nathalie looked up at him in the rearview mirror, guilt taking over her body.

She knew what was going to happen,

but if she was to lie to Gabriel and tell him everything ran smoothly, Gabriel would soon find out what happened from Vincent himself.

She rubbed her temples, not wanting to go to the Agreste Mansion herself.

The gates opened up to the Agreste Mansion, and the bodyguard parked on the side of the road. Nathalie stepped out of the car, almost hesitant to open the door for Adrien.

Adrien's adrenaline was pumping furiously.

Adrien got out of the car, his legs feeling like jelly.

He wobbled his way up the steps, trying his best not to fall right then and there in defeat.

Adrien's bodyguard opened the door for Nathalie and Adrien, and they both stepped inside. It was dark, like always, but you could see, just barely, Gabriel standing at top of the stairs, like usual.

Gabriel looked forward, not even wanting to meet his son's eyes.

Adrien opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out; just a dry sigh.

"You know I don't accept that type of behavior in my house."

Gabriel said, looking down at Nathalie, who only nodded in guilt.

"What makes you thínk you can act like that? I didn't raise you like that, and I"flashback 1 Nathalie watched as Adrien yawned while taking a picture.

Vincent let his camera fall against his chest as he yelled at Adrien for yawning.

"Why are you yawning? You just got here!" Vincent yelled, lifting his camera again, getting ready to snap some more photos.

Adrien silently apologized, looking over at Nathalie.

Nathalie typed something onto her tablet, and Adrien knew it was something bad as she only does that when she's taking notes on the photoshoot for his father.

Adrien shrank a bit, focusing his attention back on Vincent. Adrien nodded for Vincent to continue, as he shot him a heart-melting smirk.

Vincent clapped, taking about 20 pictures before Adrien could move into another position. Adrien walked over to a tree, not too far from the area he was previously, and leaned against it.

He crossed his arms, lifting his hand to place a finger on his chin, as he stared up into the sky with a questionable expression.

Vincent snapped a bunch of pictures, jumping snapped a bunch of up and down,

"Yes! Give me more detective,

Adrien!" He snapped a couple more before Adrien sat down against the tree, lifting his right leg, while his left leg layed lazily on the ground.

He placed his right arm on top of his right knee, his left layed on his lap.

He tilted his head down, looking up seductively into the camera. Vincent ran around the boy at different angles, snapping photos,

"Give me something I've never seen before!"

Adrien stood up, knowing what he was going to do may make Nathalie upset, and most likely make her write something negative on his behavior at the photo shoot, but his father did tell him to be creative when it comes to photoshoots.

Adrien ran towards the fountain that sat in the middle of the park, where the photoshoot was being held and jumped into it. Nathalie yelled Adrien's name, but Adrien ignored it, taking his hands into the fountain water, tossing them up in the air.

The light shone on his bright smile and his wide mint green eyes.

Vincent took pictures from afar not wanting to get wet once he saw where Adrien was heading for. Vincent clapped his hands twice, indicating that they were done.

Vincent walked over to the blonde, placing a hand on his shoulder, "That sure was something, M.Agreste.

That may have been the best photoshoot you've had in a while.

Keep up the energy.

I'll see you tomorrow!" Vincent walked away, getting all his camera gear together.

Adrien stepped out of the fountain as Nathalie made her way over to him, "Why did you do that, Adrien?"

Nathalie asked, looking at the boy, an upset expression on her face, but it looked like her normal expression.

Adrien shrugged sheepishly, "It was something new.

Vincent said he wanted to see something new, and I gave him new!"

He exclaimed, grabbing the towel his bodyguard had brought over to him.

Adrien dried his hair and most of his clothes off the best he could and handed the towel back.

Nathalie typed something into her tablet once again, fixing her glasses,

"Let's just hope your father doesn'tstriked Adrien across his chest, causing Adrien to let out a shriek.

Adrien was already in pain from the previous cuts and bruises, but he knew that this was O going to be something new.

Gabriel struck Adrien again, and Adrien fell to the ground clutching his chest from where he had been hit.

Gabriel pulled the belt back over his shoulder, watching his son shake in fear and pain.

He pulled it back over his face, letting the leather strike against Adrien's skin once again. Adrien screamed, lifting a hand to protect himself from another hit.

Gabriel pulled his arm out of the way, pulling the leather material over his shoulder, slapping Adrien across the face.

Adrien held his cheek in pain, as Gabriel struck him on his back, causing a small cut to slowly appear.

It began to bleed, and Adrien screamed, reaching back to touch the cut. Gabriel hit Adrien one last time across his chest, the hardest he's hit him in his life, and Adrien screamed out, clenching his back to try and ease the pain out.

A huge cut formed on his back, from the top of his left shoulder to his right hip.

Gabriel threw the leather material down, walking out of the room.

Adrien was still screaming in horrendous pain, blood seeping violently out of the huge cut on his back.

Adrien lied there, a pool of blood under him, as he clenched his legs to his chest, trying not to cry too loudly for his father to hear him.

He attempted to sit up and crawl to his room, but he collapsed before the door, his vision going blurry.

He looked around the room, his eyes landing on the trail of blood that followed after him. and that's when everything went black.

I'd of flashback") Hello, baguettes and kitties! This another story I'm working on, and I have so much planned for it! I hope you liked this chapter. I put a lot of effort into it and thought. I almost cried writing this, literally. As a kid, I'm not going to lie, I used to get beat, pretty badly. Not as bad as I wrote in this chapter, considering I'm a female, but I sure as heck did get hit pretty hard. I hope no one reading this is going through that and is living a wonderful life.

I hope you all try your best in everything you do and stay Miraculous! Have a blessed day, night, evening, whatever! Love you guys, -

Bug Out!-
