When he heard that Jon was going to give him a surprise, the sheriff's nerves tensed up instantly.
This sentence meant that the matter was not over!

Within these two hours, the police really wouldn't be able to find him if Jon deliberately hid.

He left the police car and grabbed a car at the roadside and drove a few miles.
He got out of the car, avoided the cameras, and came to a house.
"Oh, my friend, you're here."
