Barton felt a little strange when he heard what the royal soldier said.
He heard the royal soldier speak again, "Yes. It's because Cardinal Monn stuck his flaming sword at the city gate. The sword is still burning with flames. The flames seem to come alive once the werewolves approached the gate. It would chase after the werewolf until it burned them into ashes."
General Barton's pupils constricted when he heard that.
He knew that the sword was abnormally powerful, but he did not expect that it would still be so powerful even without the owner of the sword.
It scared the werewolf army to the point that they did not dare to charge at all?
