Chapter 30 - Meeting

The wind blew, and the fog blocked the vision of countless Mages, making them unable to differentiate their sense of direction. However, what was terrifying was that they were in such an environment where there was as if someone who had laid out their path. They kept moving forward, but there was no repetition. Instead, they were heading towards the direction of Deathly Silence without any obstructions.

A group of Mages marched through the forest, occasionally catching glimpses of eerie white bones, but still unable to contain their agitation.

"Brothers, we're almost at our destination. Prepare yourselves!"

"Don't worry, Boss. This time, we will definitely take down Ronald."

"He doesn't have any battle achievements, so I can guarantee that he's just a person with bad luck that provoked the upper echelons of Mystic Fire."

"Perhaps he refused to become one of the Seven Disciples because he provoked Mystic Fire's higher-ups. That's why he doesn't even dare to reply."

"…"

The scene was extremely lively. Even those who were lacking in confidence at the start became 100 times more confident. This process was intriguing! Who was the one who helped to encourage, making this group of Mages not think of these problems at all.

They were completely carried away by the inexplicable atmosphere. They became excited and agitated, as if victory was in their hands. They blindly believed that they could win this time. They trusted that Ronald was vulnerable.

In a certain crowd, a burly man grinned and shouted with a smile that lacked a few teeth, "It's just a mere Ronald. Do we need to be afraid of him? What a joke!"

"That's right, that's right. There are so many of us, why should we be afraid of him?"

"But then again, how are we going to distribute the positions of the Seven Disciples?"

"How are we going to distribute them? Whoever kills Ronald will get the title of the Seven Disciples. Therefore, Brothers, don't shrink back. We must obtain the title of the Seven Disciples!"

"…"

After causing the crowd to be excited, no one noticed that the burly middle-aged man had silently left and headed to another local force to do the same thing.

This middle-aged man's most prominent feature was a tuft of black beard on his chin, extremely prominent, thick to the point where one couldn't help but give him a few more looks.

Suddenly, he turned around and looked at the foggy area in front of him. At the same time, his lips curled into a strange smile as he muttered to himself in a low voice, "I must obtain the position of the Seven Disciples. For this, I have no qualms about sending you cannon fodders to die. All of you deserve to die!"

Within the castle in Deathly Silence of Black Forest.

Bang bang bang!

Someone knocked at the front door.

Coincidentally, Ronald was having dinner with Gina.

Gina used her wind elemental power to float to the door. After opening the door, she saw Alpha and Delta walking in with anxious expressions. After their hard work, they finally gained Ronald's trust.

Therefore, the two of them could enter Deathly Silence without Ronald's permission anymore. Including Blake, the three of them could enter Deathly Silence at will. This could be considered Ronald taking care of his neighbors!

"What's wrong?" Ronald asked as he moved the fruit in his mouth and looked at the two.

"This is bad, my lord." Alpha was out of breath, unable to hide his anxious expression as he hurried to explain. "The outside world has been turned upside down. Mystic Fire Guild has issued a notice in order to deal with you, so much so that many local forces are flocking here today."

"What notice?" Ronald asked curiously.

"Your bounty has been raised to 50 million, and as long as they kill you, they can get the title of the Seven Disciples. Many local forces are ready to make a move." Delta continued.

"50 million?" Ronald was very surprised. He smiled and said, "This is already a terrifying bounty in the East Continent. But I'm very puzzled. Why did Mystic Fire Guild attack me for no reason?"

"My lord, perhaps you think that your every move did not threaten Mystic Fire, but, in fact, your refusal to become one of the Seven Disciples had already thrown away all of Mystic Fire's face.

"Therefore, in order to save their reputation, Mystic Fire has to take some measures to prove that they are not a pushover. This resulted in the current situation," Alpha explained.

"Are the Mages from Mystic Fire Guild here too?" Ronald asked with a smile.

If Mystic Fire Guild really sent Mages here, he did not mind killing some of them to let Mystic Fire Guild know that he was not one that anyone could offend.

"They did not. It's just that there are a lot of local forces that have entered Black Forest." Delta shook his head and replied

"Sitting this one out and reaping the spoils later? Sounds like the style of villains." Ronald was full of smiles as he understood.

No matter which side won the internal conflict between the local forces, it would be beneficial to Mystic Fire Guild.

"My lord, that group of Mages is about to arrive." Delta was a little nervous and reminded.

"Those who come are just a bunch of mobs." Ronald's sparkled as he smiled faintly. Although he did not do anything terrifying, nor did he have any battle achievements, those who could enter Black Forest, settle down, and attack him were some brainless people, this was for sure. It was impossible even for a dumb pirate to get involved in this mess

Unless, some people had ulterior motives! Otherwise, under normal circumstances, no matter how weak Ronald was, he was still a man with a bounty of 50 million. This bounty was in their faces. Regardless of whether he had any battle achievements, it could prove that his strength was not to be underestimated.

And if the group of forces that attacked rashly without understanding the situation was not a mob, then what was it?

"I'm afraid that it's a problem whether they can reach here successfully." Ronald shook his head and thought.

"My lord, it's a little strange. I feel that they're getting closer and closer. In fact, there aren't any Mages lost along the way. It's as if someone is deliberately guiding them," Alpha thought for a while and said in a deep voice.

"Oh? Mystic Fire did it?" Ronald smiled in surprise.

No matter who came, he would not be afraid. Even if the so-called three great generals of East Continent came together, they might still have the strength to fight. Regarding his own strength, Ronald was still full of confidence.

"I don't know," Delta said, shaking his head.

"Let's go and see how many people are here." Ronald stood up and said to Gina, "Clean up and wait for me. Don't run around."

"Yes." Gina nodded obediently.

At this moment, Delta suggested, "My lord, should we ask Lord Blake to help?"

"Blake? There's no need. As the former Seven Disciple, if he helps me now, it will inevitably arouse the suspicion of Mystic Fire Guild. And the loss outweighs the gain. Besides, there's no need to mobilize so many people." Ronald shook his head and said casually.

"You are absolutely correct, my lord." The two of them nodded successively and remained silent.

They still approved of Ronald's strength. After all, this was a terrifying figure who had severely injured Blake. Even Blake had to lower his head in front of Ronald.

In comparison, they were even more curious about how the group of Mages who swarmed into Black Forest would die!

Would Ronald lose?

No way!

The two of them never thought that Ronald would be defeated in battle.

That was because this was something that was simply impossible.
