Part 2 | Wait , What?
This unknown city which the statues called it underworld that stuck with Aaron all the while searching for this inn that toka said him to be in.
' what is this underworld ? , from what I heard it was supposed to be destroyed by the gods troops, yet I am here in this beautiful red city' aaron had this weird look of confusion.
"hey boy , you are new here aren't you?" deep yet calming voice, called his attention. He looked around for the source of this mysterious voice. Someone from a near by coffee shop .An older male , human like yet he had this huge black wings folded , and slightly elongated ears. Aaron looked at him closely. He wore this beautifully made white robe and was holding this staff with a red crystal on the top and it seemed to radiate amazing power.
"H-hi, Ya I am new ", Aaron replied with a growing concern for his own safety.
"You looked a little worried, don't be I am just trying to help", the man replied with a light smile.
'How did he know? Can he read my mind?' aaron was getting more nervous.
"Come, come have a seat" the man directed towards the table near by. Aaron went on and sat in the chair that the man pulled for him , hoping he'd get more answer?
"You .....are? " Aaron asked the man softly. The man slowly sat down .
" I am haku kawaki, you can call me senior haku. I am a griffin, although I may not look like it ", Haku answred. "The legendary creature who was supposed to be extinct? How ?" Aaron exclaimed
"It's true that most of us died, and all because of stupid Azam , who gave him right to decide ?" , haku began drifting off the main topic. *cough-cough* , 'that should do it' , Aaron though to himself.
"oh sorry, I just began drifting away from the main topic, but yaa most of griffins died, but those who survived fled back to the underworld, and after 700 years the number of griffins did grow".Haku said.
Aaron did not know what to say so he stayed quite.
"what about you , who are you?"haru asked
"I am Aaron, I am a human. Or at least that what I think I am", said aaron
"why , to me you look like a human" haku replied.
After that aaron though he could trust this person and said everything what happned before and after the gate. Haku look at him kindly and then after all that he stood up slowly.
"Come on I'll lead you to the inn and If I can then I'll answer your questions on the way"
Haku and Aaron started walking . Aaron was still confused by where he was. "Senior haku , could I ask you a question ?"
"Ya go ahead" haku smiled.
"From what I heard the underworld collapsed and was deemed unlivable , yet this underworld is a beautiful place, what really happened after the war? since you have been alive during the war maybe you'd know more", Aaron asked
"So that's what you were told, the underworld collapsed ? Interesting. Let me tell you something even more facinating the war that you think was won by gods was a lie, its true we had a war , and it's true that the gods had over powered us but never to the point where the underworld would collapse. Honestly the war never officially ended", said Haku
'wait what????' thought Aaron.
