Chapter 77 - Law changing births

"Honey, we've been stuck in this place for a long time. Do you think we'll ever get out" Carson said.

The wife sighed. "I don't know. I question at times, if the Angels from Heaven had never fallen, how my life would be"

"Well, for starters, we would never meet, and I'll be under the control of those shitty Gods," Carson said as he moved close to her and put his hands around her waist.

"Oh yeah?" She said as she smiled.

He kissed her, and as he moved his hands around her, they went onto the bed and enjoyed themself.

"I really can't stand this place, honey." He told her as they both lay there.

"Well, the seal leaks every year. One day, you'll be able to pass through." She reassured him.

Carson let it go and then fell asleep. He woke up the next day and went out into the town.

Everywhere he went, people knew him, people loved him, but he didn't feel happy. The thought of him being a slave to those he hated angered him, but he suppressed his emotions and moved forward.

Carson walked into a room the Phantom twelve shared.

"Welcome in, Carson," Senzu said as he placed his drink on the floor.

"Thank you." He said as he took a seat. "Why are we all here?" Moses questioned.

Dachi told them about tomorrow's leak and how it should be strong enough to take one person through.

"So, who's going?" They questioned.

Everyone spoke over each other, presenting why they should be the ones to escape and what they thought they could accomplish for the rest of the Phantoms.

Carson sat there and didn't say a word. He thought about what this could all mean. Can he finally escape this hell, and will his dreams be accessible in the outside world?

Dachi waited until everyone got quiet and spoke again.

"Nobody will be leaving through tomorrow's leak if I'm to find out someone has gone; I promise you once we all get out, we won't rest until we take your life." Dachi then dismissed the twelve and left.

The twelve were all angered about the fact none of them could leave, but there was nothing they could do because they knew If they did go, it would be limited freedom.

Carson returned to his home and sat on his couch, thinking.

"I can't stay here. I have to go." Carson said.

"But the Twelve, they'll kill me." He also thought.

Carson sat there for hours arguing with himself.

After consideration of everything, he decided his freedom was the most important thing, even if it would be short. The day had ended, and he made his way to the sight during the next leak.

Carson made it, and as he thought no other member was there, they were all strong, but none of them could take on every member alone.

"I expected someone to show up here, but I didn't think it'll be you, Carson," Dachi said. "Your silence during the argument made me think you didn't care."

"Oh, it's not how it looks. I just wanted to see the leak." Carson covered up for himself.

"It's ok, I believe you. After all, you aren't that bad of a guy." Dachi tapped his shoulder and waited for him to leave.

Carson turned around and left. He turned around once and watched the seal close back up. He made his way home and lay on the ground.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK" he yelled.

"WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LET ME GO." He let out.

"All I want is to be gone from this place."

He got up and destroyed everything in his home.

"Please…please just let me be." He cried.

His body got covered in darkness, and he got pulled into a hole.

He looked around and saw an image of the natural world, but everything was gloomy, and he found a boat and walked on and used it.

He paddled and paddled until he got tired and got out of it.

"What do you seek?" A voice said.

Carson turned around with his guard up.

He looked around and soon saw a man with a black cloak and a long scythe in his hand.

"I do not wish to fight." The man said.

"Who are you, and what do you want," Carson questioned.

"I'm here to help you fulfill your goals, nothing more, nothing less."

"My goals?"

"Yes, your goals. What is it that you want more than anything?" He said.

"I want…. I want to leave the Phantom union and be able to walk freely without having to be a slave to the Gods or being under their watch."

"Well, the Gods will see you no matter what but knowing them, they won't come after you if you walked the Earth again."

"Then may I?" Carson begged.

"Of course, but doing this will cause pain for people in the future. Are you sure it's what you desire?" The man asked once again.

"More than anything." He answered.

"Fine then, Carson the Phantom shall go to Earth. What you do there is up to you, but I wouldn't make too much noise."

Carson disappeared and appeared in the sky. He fell to the ground and hit it, landing in front of many people.

They all looked at the body that fell out of nowhere but had no damage on him.

"Could he be a devil worshipper?" Someone whispered.

Months have passed since Carson has arrived.

He fell in love with a human and lives with her without ever telling her what he is.

He ended up getting her pregnant.

Carson's wife back in the Phantom union had also become pregnant, and her child was born.

All of the Phantoms have come to her due date.

Carson rushed the woman he was with to the hospital and waited outside the room as they took her in.

He wondered if his son would have special abilities. Soon after the baby was delivered, he looked at it and smiled.

The phantoms all looked at the demon child that was born.

The mother looked at him.

"Do you have a name?" The doctors asked Carson's demon wife.

"Do you have a name?" The doctors asked Carson's girlfriend.

"Yes"

"Yes"

"His name will be."

"Vannox"

"Carson"
