In the year 2032, renowned treasure hunter Levi Gadfrey made a world changing discovery. after dedicating years of his life to tedious research, he had finally loacted the legendary lost Incan city of Parancha buried deep within the Sechura Desert. In finding this forgotten treasure, Levi and his team also unearthed a temple constructed completely of a rough black metal that until then had been completely undiscovered. The dark exterior of the temple was pitted but seemless, carved completely out of one immense monolith. As most great discoveries go, it's discoverer quickly blessed this new metal and named it with the only name he saw fit: Levanthitite.
After unearthing what appeared to be the doors to the temple these doors automatically slid open with a soft mechanical hum. Inside this temple was lit with floating lights far too advanced for the Incans at the time. Inside this temple were artifacts that would later be known as Armor that gave the user abilities but in exchange only one could be equipped and fused to the user permanently. Thankfully with this discovery mankind was able reverse engineer these armors to mass produce for the whole human race, sadly these man made Armors weren't as powerful as the authentic ones. In the center of this room was a large altar with what would later be known as a Power Gate standing in the center of it. With the discovery of this first Temple Of Power something strange happened in our world that day and these Power Gates began to pop up everywhere on our planet. Each one shimmering with a plethora of color and being powered by what would be called a Power Core.
After this discovery the world's governments began to interfere by sending their own military
into the gates only to discover that these gates transported the men and women of the military to other what appeared to be other planets that teemed with other worldly flora and fauna! There they discovered more of these armors in other temples that gave a different variety of abilities! Shortly after invading these portals and hunting these beasts the military learned quickly that after killing these creatures the Armor they wore absorbed the creatures soul causing their Armor to grow as well as their strength, stamina, endurance, as well as strengthening their ability as well. Sadly there was a limit on this growth based off how well the user bonded with their armor, this soon gave rise to a ranking system from F to S.
All seemed to be great in the world as studying these gates mankind began to advance in technology quite rapidly, until 1 year after the discovery of these gates a group of humanoid creatures that had gray mottled skin, sharp fangs, bald heads, 4 arms, had the strength of 10 men, as well as being indestructible to most man made weapons walked through the gates wearing their own set of armor and began to invade Earth. These creatures were known as the Grek, thankfully humans were able to fight back with the discovery of Armor or else mankind would've most likely been driven to extinction. Mankind fought the Grek for 2 long years taking huge casualties on both sides until the Grek approached Earth's leaders with a peace treaty stating to stay away from mankinds planets and vice versa.
"Now kids close your holo-books as this ends our history lesson for the day and get ready for your field trip tomorrow as we get to tour a Temple of Power tomorrow" said Mr. Tannenbaum a middle aged man with years of military experience. As a wave of excitement washed through the class there was one small student with mousy brown hair sitting in the back corner who was the least excited about this field trip, wanting to just get it over with since it was mandatory. This students name was Alex Cohen.
