As a married couple, it's already normal for Bree and Gavin to argue every so often. They've been living in the same roof for 3 years and we can't expect that there's nothing to argue about.
Bree is a neat person, when he's home he'll surely clean and organize everything. He doesn't want to see the floor cluttered with pillows, the living room with discarded clothes. While Gavin is a messy person, everytime he got home from work he'll just eat with Bree, shower with him, and sleep. Leaving everything behind, including work stuff. But he bet that Bree is okay with that.
And now is one of those nights where they fight...
"I waited for hours Gavin! We agreed on 7, but you didn't come." Bree said, disappointment evident in his voice. The thing is, Gavin promised Bree a date night on their favorite restaurant, but he never came.
"Babe, I'm really sorry. I forgot okay? I needed to finish some important stuff, and lost track of time. I'm really sorry, I promise-"
"Don't." Said Bree, cutting his husband off. "Don't promise something if you'll just break it. Goodnight, I'm tired." He said coldly and pushed Brent away.
"Bree please. I'm sorry. I'll never do it again I swear. Please forgive me." Gavin begged, holding onto Bree's hand.
"I said I'm tired, let's just sleep."
This is the one thing that Bree hates about Gavin. He often forget about important things. Bree knows that Gavin is busy and needed to work hard for their own sake, but the point is, he keeps on promising something and forget about it five seconds after.
Bree keeps on telling himself that it's okay, nothing to worry about. But then, he'll overthink things again. 'What if Gavin is seeing someone else?' or 'What if Gavin doesn't want me anymore?' were the things that comes into his mind everytime they fight over things like this.
Three years of being married is hard he knows that, but Gavin needs to do some effort in this relationship too. The one who always plans a date was Bree, the one who always asks how the other was doing was Bree. All Gavin does was work, work and work. He don't have time for Bree anymore.
Yeah, the first year was so good. They were so sweet to each other, cuddling all night after a tiring day of work, exchanging I Love You's. but now it's gone. It's all gone. Gavin always forget that he has a worried husband who's waiting for him at their house, always coming home late.
Bree just want his old husband back. The sweet and caring husband who always have time for him, the husband who always answers his calls anytime of the day. He just don't understand why. Gavin promised him that he'll be always their by his side, but that never happened.
At times like this, Bree just wants his husband to cuddle and kiss him. He just needs Gavin to comfort him but here they are, fighting. He didn't tell Gavin that he had a bad day, he didn't tell him that an old lady judged him just because he wore make up, he didn't tell him that some rude customers at work told him that he's bad at cooking.
Everything that happened today is making Bree tired. All he wanted now was to sleep and forget about everything.
