Evening’s Moonstruck Maiden

She was a mindless zombie cared by another zombie who was known as “Mother Zombie” for having motherly affections towards young zombies. She was ‘Mother’s favorite zombie and she was pampered and loved even though she was useless and without ability to fight nor the desire to. Under ‘Mother’s pampering, she was the first to achieve intelligence among the group of zombie children. It was also then that she lost her life, taking an attack for her ‘Mother’. She was weak and a simple attack could kill her, what more an attack aimed to kill ‘Mother’? Feeling no regret, she closed her eyes as darkness devoured her. When she woke up again, she saw an unfamiliar ceiling. It seemed like she went back in time.
