"It's alright, it wasn't that long," Quan Jue said. From the corner of his eye, he saw Jiang Xiaoli walking out of the woods with half of her face covered. His eyes flashed with a deep light.
Chi Jiao's gaze was also on her. She watched as Jiang Xiaoli walked over to Jiang Shen, who was taking photos at the entrance of the Glazed Tile Temple. She pointed at her face and said something to him. Then, Jiang Shen's face instantly turned solemn as he nodded.
Then, he led her to Chi Jiao and Quan Jue.
"Miss Chi Jiao, let's head back. Xiaoli's face has an allergic reaction," Jiang Shen said.
Quan Jue's gaze landed on Jiang Xiaoli's face.
Half of her face was red and swollen, but it didn't look like an allergy. It looked more like she had been slapped.
Quan Jue's thin lips curved into a fleeting smile.
Looked like his pampered little girl had been up to some mischief again.
