"I loved the fishballs from this store." Chi Jiao stuffed two fishballs into her mouth at once. Her cheeks were puffed up like a hamster's, and she smiled until her eyes were narrowed. "I've loved them since that old granny wasn't an old granny yet."
She had eaten them for more than ten years.
Quan Jue looked at her satisfied expression. "Eat more, then."
"Brother Quan, the store selling these fish balls is really far away. Why did you end up running there?" Chi Jiao asked curiously.
Quan Jue lowered his eyes to hide the strangeness in them and said softly, "I unconsciously ran that far during my morning jog."
Chi Jiao did not suspect anything.
