Xing Yue came back to her senses and hurriedly nodded. "Oh, okay. Can you go back yourself?"

"Yes." Chi Jiao nodded and bypassed the crowd before walking far away.

When she was back in the classroom, Chi Jiao went to her seat and sat down.

Recalling that scene earlier, Chi Jiao was still feeling uncomfortable.

It wasn't because of how terrifying the gory scene was, but because of the girl's memories Chi Jiao saw before she died. She could clearly feel the girl's despair and pain.

"Little Jiaojiao, why are you sitting here alone? Come, have some breakfast." Xu Ye had just entered the class when he saw Chi Jiao in a daze. He hurriedly walked over and placed a scallion pancake and fresh soy milk on her desk.

Chi Jiao looked up at him. "I have no appetite. I don't feel like eating."

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Xu Ye asked worriedly.

Chi Jiao shook her head. Then, she saw Yi Lanlan and the other two walk in.
