Messages from previous survivor settlements suggested that China was one of the first countries on Earth to be destroyed by the zombie virus. The entire nation had once plunged into chaos, but soon, the government forces started gathering superhumans and uninfected common folks together, establishing safe zones and resisting the zombies together. Although the effect was very little, it indeed reduced the number of casualties.
However, due to the lack of a communication system, they had no way of knowing further details about the situation in China. Su Junxin wasn't sure if the Cloud safe zone was still operational, or where her companions were at the moment.
After the helicopter entered China, time seemed to stretch on end. Su Junxin started suffering from bouts of insomnia, often sitting alone by the window, gazing absently at the scenery below.
