The tumultuous seawater became foggy with a deep blackness that rapidly expanded from a small patch. The groaning of zombies mingled with the agonized squeals of dolphins, threatening to rupture any human eardrums within earshot.
Su Junxin snapped out of her shock and quickly reacted. She yelled behind her, "Quick, everybody together!"
The number of zombies was too large; this was practically a war of attrition. Relying solely on the dolphins wouldn't work!
Ghost, about to stand, was stopped by K. He blocked K's arm with a rarely seen stern expression, "Using your superpower will worsen your injury."
"I—"
"Don't make her worry," Ghost said coldly.
K's gaze flickered as he turned towards Su Junxin. Remembering how a warm and powerful energy had soothed his body's turmoil when he woke up in a daze the night before, he realized Su Junxin had watched over him all night.
He lowered his eyelashes, "Call me if you need anything."
