On a Saturday morning, Su Junxin brought Li Weize to the largest privately-owned bank in South City.

Looking up at the half-open hibiscus flower logo on the signboard, she paced into the building at a steady pace.

Upon learning that Su Junxin wanted to apply for a loan, the bank teller politely turned down her request.

"I'm sorry, but you're a minor. According to the law, banks are not allowed to process loans for minors."

Not surprisingly, Su Junxin withdrew her ID card, "Then can you please call your manager for me?"

"I'm sorry, but unless there's a special circumstance, we can't call the manager for you."

Su Junxin leaned back in her chair, sitting up straight.

She gazed at the teller through the bulletproof glass panel with a faint smile, her voice cool, "I have an urgent matter."

Taken aback by her gaze, the teller hesitated for a moment before saying, "Just a moment," and turned aside to make a phone call.

Shortly after, a tall man in a suit came out.
