The night was cool as water.

Entering November, the temperature continued to drop. Breath turned to frost, and the rare warmth seemed to be swept away by the cold wind.

The slow and steady footsteps gradually approached. She recognized them to be K's and paused slightly in her movements.

K stopped beside her, his gaze swept over her hands that had turned red from the freezing well water. His eyes flickered slightly.

He stood silently for a while. Su Junxin looked up at him with a glance, offering a half-dried strip of cloth in her hand.
