Xin Zaozao and the maternity nurse finally managed to lull Wanwan to sleep by nursing her.
However, Wanwan seemed to have a sense of insecurity. As soon as Zaozao removed her breast, she would fuss and sleep restlessly. Zaozao had to let her suckle again. She also tried to use a pacifier in between, but Wanwan directly rejected it, and would cry as soon as she spat it out.
So Xin Zaozao let her suckle while sleeping.
Only after she woke up would she unlatch, and it wouldn't take long before she wanted to nurse again. After nursing, she would play for a while and when she'd become sleepy, she would start suckling again. Consequently, Wanwan spent practically the whole day clinging to Xin Zaozao, preventing her from doing anything else.
