"Shut up!"
Dan Hanjie growled and jerked Qin Youxuan into his arms.
"I'm fine now."
"Sorry, I didn't know..." Qin Youxuan sniffled, her eyes growing warm.
Her arms tightly wrapped around him, choking on her words as soon as she began to speak.
"Dan Hanjie, I'm alright, really. If you don't believe me, touch my face." Qin Youxuan grabbed his hand and pressed it against her face.
"I can see it." Dan Hanjie's thin lips curled into a smirk as he gently traced her nose with his finger. "You've been crying like a little kitten."
"o(╯□╰)o..."
Dan Hanjie led her into the dining room and ordered the butler to serve dinner.
After dinner, just as Qin Youxuan was about to take a walk in the courtyard, he lifted her back into the room.
"It's still early, I'm not tired." Qin Youxuan struggled briefly, and, failing to escape, simply let him hold her.
"I'm tired. Sleep with me for a while." Dan Hanjie's long arms encircled her body, his eyes closing as he held her close.
