A little old man, nearly sixty, had guided Qin Youxuan through many of her assignments while she was in America.
He held great admiration for Qin Youxuan's defiant attitude and flamboyant character.
But when Qin Youxuan had hurriedly returned to China and taken a leave of absence, no one had been informed. She just left.
She thought no one would remember her.
But she didn't expect to suddenly receive a call from her advisor.
"I'm glad you've got a heart and recognized my voice. It took a lot of effort for me to find your phone number," Professor Hubble sounded delighted, jesting from the other end of the line.
Qin Youxuan was flustered for a moment before she voiced her doubts.
"Professor Hubble, I'm on leave of absence. Why would you want to find me?"
