Chapter 64 - Chapter 59

"Y-you w-won't k-kill us, right?" stammered one of the green-haired girls.

I looked at all of them. I looked deep into their souls and said, "You won't make me, right?"

The redhead was still defiant, "You don't have the guts to shoot that thing! The moment you shoot it, everyone will know it was you! And, you'll be serving time for the rest of your life!"

I looked at her and laughed. I let out a good one, something I haven't done in a long time. She looked at me with a snarky expression, but then it melted into one of concern. I wiped my tears of joy and explained to her, "You know, hon', you should really think of becoming a police officer. You might just be able to talk your way out of shit like this." Her face became defiant again. I added, "But, there are three things wrong with your premature presumption." Her smirk faded. "First, is it a loss for me to kill one of you? You say that I'll get chucked into the hole for the rest of my life, right?"

She quietly said, "Yes."

"Take a good look at me," I spread my arms with my pistol clutched in my left hand, "How many years do you think I have?" She opened her mouth but fell silent. "I've lived my life. You think I would need those last couple of years?" She was still acting mute. "Second," she looked back up at me holding up two fingers, "What's to stop me from killing all of you here knowing that I don't care about death or going to jail?" She tightened her fists, but the other two were in full panic. "Now, calm down, sweethearts. I'm not actually going to kill you," I said with a jovial tone. They didn't listen; they were still shaking uncontrollably and yelling random things to beg for their lives. The redhead wasn't doing anything, so I took the matter into my own hands. Through the screaming, I said, "The third mistake is this." *Click* *PEW!*

Everyone stopped. Everything was still. The three of them looked towards the left until they saw a perfectly round hole in the bathroom wall. From the hole, smoke was trailing out. They slowly and hesitantly looked back up at me. "If you want a verbal confirmation on who did that," I aloofly said, "Sit. The. Fuck. Down."

They slid down the wall on their backs until their butts touched the freezing bathroom floor. They let small shivers and teeth chatter out before staying completely silent. The redhead let out a small gasp, "A silencer."

I applauded her, "Yes, it is a silencer. So, now that we have another variable, I won't have to kick the bucket after I shoot all of you in the head. Don't worry it's painless." I looked at them and added, "If you don't struggle, that is."

The green-haired girls cowered and softly asked, "W-w-what do y-y-you want-t?"

I gave them a nice smile and said, "Good, now we're down to the negotiations!" I clapped my hands one time to snap them back to reality before continuing, "There's only one thing that I need you to do." I held up one finger. All their eyes sparkled before I said, "I know that you ripped my granddaughter's dress. What I want you to do is go up to the stage when it's your turn and tell the crowd exactly what you did. You can atone for your sins this way!"

The redhead must have had enough as she snapped, "NO! WE CAN'T DO THAT! IF WE DO, WE WON'T EVER GET INTO A UNIVERSITY!!!" She threw a tantrum that I could not afford to hear. *PEW!* She suddenly went still. The other two girls screamed. The echoes hurt my head. *PEW!* *PEW!* Everything was now silent. I relaxed.

A peaceful quiet emerged from the gunshots. It felt so tranquil at the moment before I smell a rancid liquid leaking out of the girls' bodies. I opened my own eyes and saw that it was trailing towards me, so I took a step back trying not to get it to stain my feet. The more I went back, the further it chased me. Fuck it. I stepped forward, reluctantly getting it on my black, dress shoes that shined in under the bathroom lights. I walked closer to them and slapped them lightly on the cheek. The urine reeked, but I stood there and gained my composure.

"You ain't dead yet, so open your god damn eyes." All three of them opened their eyes on command and looked up. Three bullet holes, all leaving trails of smoke, were millimeters above their heads. The redhead calmed down. "Good, you're all being reasonable." I kneeled next to them and said, "So, will you do it?" All of them shook their heads fervently. Redhead had the jitters. I leaned in closer to her and whispered loud enough so everyone could hear, "I am a very capable man. I am a very experienced man. And obviously, I am a very powerful man. So, if you and your families want to sleep peacefully from now on, I suggest you keep our little secret safe in your heads, okay?" Redhead's eyes were crazed; she nodded her head several times before I walked further away from her. I looked back at the bullet holes in the walls. I sighed; a legendary hitman now uses his abilities to...persuade mentally disturbed teens. I chuckled to myself, this was even more fun than I imagined.

As I was about to unlock the door, the redhead quietly said something. "What was that?" I called back.

"WHAT IF WE TELL YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER ABOUT THIS?! SHE'LL DESPISE YOU FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE!!! AND WHEN YOU DIE, SHE'LL LIVE IN HELL BECAUSE OF REGRET!!"

I thought about what to say for a while before finally settled for the truth. "Just between the four of us in this room. Lily, doesn't even know that I'm her grandfather. She doesn't know about anything. So, if you did tell her, she would be hating a stranger that she got a little bit too close to. Does that look like a life full of hell you were thinking of?" The redhead fell silent. I looked at both of the sisters in the room, and they nodded their heads back at me. I pushed the door open and went back to where Lily was.

"Flin, what did you do?" she asked. I think she was mad that I ghosted her.

I laughed and said, "I just talked to them, and they said that they wouldn't bother you anymore!"

"Really?!"

"Yeah, they must have lots of respect for their elders!"

Lily wasn't that convinced, but she decided to trust me as she pulled me into the theatre room. "Come on! I might not be able to perform, but I still won't see my competition!"

I followed her laughed behind her back, for all the things she would never find out.
