Silvin was well aware that it would be a long time before she got to teach Arc, he would have to leave this first world at the very least before he would be able to even cultivate in her field.
She was in control of the Magenta Monolith, often also called purple. It had relation to things such as illusions, concealment, deception, and luck. 'Luck' referred to what was not in the hands of the Heavens, so there wasn't really much it was good for and there were few ways to increase it.
She would not be able to teach Arc anything until he reached a point where he could control either Yan or Zan, which were the counterparts to Xan which represented the Codex and Nucleus respectively. The reason for this was that all skills and information in regards to her monolith were only compatible with the mind and spirit, it was impossible to deceive the body alone after all.
So she was stuck waiting for him to reach a point where he could effectively use it.
She supposed she might be able to teach him a few tricks in regards to deception even without the use of energy, but that would definitely be farther down the line and not a very long lesson.
It was only now that she envied the others. Bell and Sirius, yang and yin, were compatible with Xan and Zan as the body and soul may live or die, but were unable to use Yan as information was not confined to a concept such as life or death, only correct or incorrect.
Pherel was compatible with both Xan and Yan as it was possible to know both body and mind, but was unable to comprehend the mysteries of the soul. It was still possible to divine what they would do to a great degree of accuracy, but Pherel was still unable to wield Zan.
The other five could wield any of those energies as they pleased, albeit at a lesser degree of power and inefficiency in comparison.
It was still unusual for Silvin to show much interest in a candidate though. While she did still have a few candidates she controlled, they were never really used for mending or repairing anything in regards to the worlds flow as it her powers rarely worked to actively change something, only deceive people. Instead she often found herself setting up conditions for an operation by maneuvering a candidate to take control of the political or cultural climate. Deception was good in those spheres after all.
She seemed to be infatuated with the boy in comparison the others she had viewed as mere tools.
One reason was that she found his baby body to be incredibly cute. She also found that what his soul projected his future body to look like was exactly her type. Of course these were miniscule in comparison to the real reason.
She felt intense pity and compassion for him.
Much like Bell, Silvin had seen how he had died, and she had heard his dying words.
She was extremely saddened by his unknown past, as he had clearly gone through much suffering. She was very good at reading the 'heart' and could tell through how he was calling for his own death. It wasn't out of fear that information would be extracted from him or the that radio would be analyzed. He called for death because he knew he was dead. He had nothing left in his life, not even friends, and the people close enough for him to call brothers had all been slaughtered. She could even tell that despite his age, he was telling the truth that he had never felt another woman. She could tell he hadn't done so much as hug one.
She had determined then that she would do everything in her power to make sure he didn't have to suffer. Anything he asked for she would provide. She would teach him everything he needed, and then some more. If ever a decision had to be made on his general direction, she would advocate for his long term happiness even if that meant intense pain in the moment.
She had steeled herself to even make intensive personal risk to assist him. If necessary she would even intervene in order to save him from death, an informal taboo that could get her severely punished.
However she had not been able to do the first thing on her list she wanted to do for him when he was first here as she was busy with another candidate.
The very first thing she wanted to give him was a nice long hug.
