(Sahara POV)
I looked at the handsome dangerous man as he slowly killed me. I felt like I knew him, I felt he was good. Then the memories came, he walked back his path. I saw myself walking in the distance as I took the good memories with me. Yet all of his are of suffering. I felt his love, I felt his pain at having to do this. My rage boiled as my mind relived this mans suffering. Then he took that and used it. I understood why he was doing this. The single tear from his kind eyes fell as my mind screamed in rage. His true love hurt me, I saw us, the past us. I felt his intoxicating power course through me. His power, I felt the same even if I didn't show it.
Now I looked at my hair and face. I was slightly more pale. My hair darker as with my eyes. I had just killed the duchess's family along with everyone in the mansion. My beloved Kane told me to, so I killed them all. Kane will make this world better, he will make equal opportunities for all. He is God, he is everything! She knelt before him who had shed a tear thinking she was dead.
"My Lord it is done" I said this with great pride having killed everyone in the castle.
"Very good, no need to kneel. You are mine are you not?" As he said this I smiled and stood up moving closer. Then I felt pain and winced.
(Kane POV)
I looked on as the second tear fell from her face. The cost of her conversation is her death. She smiled and held onto me as told me how she will never abandon me. Inside I screamed. Her soul would not fade, but her body cannot contain the contrasting powers. I hold her close as her body tore itself apart. I let the emotions flow as I held the woman who spent lifetimes with me. I showed her how to take the power. I told her to return to me as I kissed her. The kiss is soft and rough, I felt her go limp. Her body fell to the floor as I raged.
Even with this power can I not have joy! The
rage is great as I let out an inhuman scream.
I unknowingly let out my power in full. By the time I calmed down I had destroyed the town, my subordinates, and much of the surrounding land. Yet after all that I felt the sadness fell on me. The only body that was the same was her body. And I honored it, I ate everything, all of her body to make her a part of me. As the tears stopped I got up and started walking.
"This world will burn for making my beloved die. I will cleanse it, from the ashes I will grow an empire for when my beloved returns. Gods, monsters, demons, people, they will burn or they will kneel" I said this as I walked past slaughtered children. I'm not human, I will rule the lesser races. "I will never suffer again" I said! I began running as my heart pounded in anticipation.
