"How did the date go?" That was the first infuriating question Alice decided to throw at me when she caught up with me at a restaurant whilst I was munching on my lunch.
I was contemplating on leaching out my fury on her or simply just ignore her.
"I didn't go." I manage to say calmly, focusing my attention on finishing up my food before my investors show their heads in the conference room.
"Why?" She pulled up a chair and slipped in.
I shrugged, wishing she will get the hint I don't want to talk to her.
