Tonight is the lynx gallery launch. And my nerves are cresting up as ever. I couldn't keep my anxiety at bay with a jittery fluttering in my tummy.
"Are you ready?" Brad asked. He looks handsome in a black tuxedo with his raven black hair and dark coal eyes. He is giving the whole Dark Knight vibe thing. Butterflies swim in my tummy anytime I stared at him. I can't believe this Adonis of a man is mine.
"Quit getting jinx up, I'm here crazy," he says catching me off guard with a heart-thumping kiss, and as usual my knees went weak.
I took a deep breath.
"I'm ready," I say.
He got out first and held the car door, giving me a hand as I gracefully got out of the car.
I was welcome with flashlights from the cameras all around us. I thought I would be used to it by now. But no, the flashlight is too blinding causing my eyelids to flutter rapidly.
"Shall we?" Brad offered me his arm. I twirl my hand around his arm.
