Sheng Yang had just walked out of the university gate when someone blocked her way.
She was carrying her bag, and her eyes didn't look friendly. "Why haven't you left?"
Most of the people from the Ivy League should have returned by now.
Yates still had the air of a natural aristocrat, and his eyes were still full of admiration. It had been a long time since he'd met a woman who interested him so much. "I came to invite you to dinner."
Sheng Yang glanced at him with a faint smile. "You're not very intelligent, but you're very humorous."
This was an insult, but there was no way to return it. Besides, Yates was a nobleman, after all. He instinctively maintained his poise, but he was feeling less pleasant now.
Even so, such a thorny rose carried a different charm to her.
