Normally, anyone who saw this string of messages would first think that Rong Yan had wanted her boyfriend to pick her up, but couldn't get through to him on the phone, so she turned to call her agent, who drove over to pick her up. Then she sent another message to her boyfriend, telling him not to come.

The phone had just rung once when, just like the text had said, a mechanical female voice announced, "Sorry, the user you are dialing has powered off. We will inform you via text when the called party is reachable."

Li Shengxiao set down his phone, looking over the messages 'Rong Yan' sent him again. Without hesitation, he called Estelle.
The call was answered quickly; the person on the other end seemed surprised to receive his call, speaking in a stunned yet cautious tone, "Hello, Mr. Li, is there something you need?"
