"Ah?" Ji Yang looked disappointed. She thought Shi Beiyu would say that it was alright and that he could delay the meeting or something along those lines.
"I'll head out first then. I'll be back tonight," Shi Beiyu said gently as he looked at Mu Siyin.
The weight on Mu Siyin's shoulders finally fell.
She instantly grinned and nodded. "Okay. Hurry away, then."
Shi Beiyu felt annoyed for a moment. It seemed like her best friend was more important than him.
Watching as Shi Beiyu turned coldly and left, Ji Yang frowned and looked at Mu Siyin in dissatisfaction. "Is he really that busy, Yinyin? Look at the time now. Will he be able to make it to the meeting?"
Ji Yang's ability to analyze and reason was frightening.
It was already past 9:00 a.m., so he would only be at his office around 10 a.m.
Mu Siyin let out a cheer in her heart but pretended to look very sad instead. "He's busy every day. That's why I don't want to bother him."
