Minnie continued to hold her father's hand, who looked tired as he continued to run. "Daddy holds on, we'll be at the dock in a little bit."
Her father, who is almost 60 years old, nodded, clutching his chest and trying to keep up with Minnie's steps, but slowly he gloriously coughed.
They had arrived at the fish market, meaning that the dock was getting closer but suddenly her father let go of her.
"Go first dear, dad can no longer run."
"What did you say? I'm not going anywhere without a dad."
Minnie insisted that even though her father asked her to leave him, her father was too tired to even walk.
"Daddy!" Minnie whines holding back her tears because her father still doesn't want to run with her.
"Go, Minnie ... "
"I can't leave daddy here, I only have you."
Minnie's tears dripped as well as her father who started crying.
Minnie then hugged her father and hoped her father would not give up here.
"I beg you, dad, I know you can still go with me. I don't want to part with you even for a moment because I only have you in this world."
Minnie's father then let go of his hug, he kissed Minnie's forehead briefly and wiped her tears.
"We will meet again."
Minnie still doesn't want to leave her father but the debt collectors find them again and are now running towards them.
"Go on, Minnie!"
"No Daddy, I will fight them."
"No dear, dad doesn't want you to get hurt and you end up getting caught. Dad won't be able to if they manage to take you away so you better go, hide, and don't let them find you before dad finds you."
Minnie cried again, she then hugged her father again. "Make sure you find me."
With a heavy heart that Minnie finally had to leave her father, she ran while occasionally looking back and saw how his father tried to prevent the debt collectors from pursuing her.
"Minx! Stop there or we'll get your daddy off!" Shouted one of the debt collectors.
But this time Minnie won't believe their words anymore. The debt collectors were planning to sell her if only she didn't get away last night then today she will end up in the hands of a bastard who is just a sex nut.
Despite the fear in Minnie's heart, she hopes that her father can run away again like they had been doing, hopefully.
Minnie accelerated his pace, she didn't care if she had to hit someone who was carrying so many anchovies that the fish scattered on the dirty floor and made the debt collectors fall as a result of stepping on the fish. At least it slowed their pace even though Minnie felt guilty for making the fisherman suffer losses because the fish had become wasted.
There was an intersection, her father said if her friend would take them away by ship to escape, but there were many ships anchored that made Minnie feel very confused about which ship to approach, but the debt collectors got closer to her so that Minnie could no longer think, she was too scared because there were so many of them. After all, unfortunately, that damn loan shark knows about Minnie's fighting skills so he purposely increases the number of debt collectors who were assigned to chase her.
Minnie wanted to hide on a fishing boat but she would be very easy to find so Minnie chose a yacht that was closed and hid in the yacht.
"Hopefully this ship doesn't go sailing today." Said Minnie praying as he peeked outside to make sure that the debt collectors had left and fortunately they did not check the ships on the dock but instead entered a narrow alley following a wooden bridge.
Minnie can breathe a sigh of relief now because it looks like the debt collectors are no longer chasing her but then she remembers that her father was caught by them. Minnie is eager to help her father, but she can't fight them all. All Minnie can do now is cry until she finally drifts off to sleep.
...
Minnie felt a headache but to be honest she felt that her body no longer felt the pain that she usually did.
"You woke up already?" The baritone voice sounded clear in Minnie's ears and made Minnie instantly open her eyes even though she still wanted this comfort.
Minnie stared at the ceiling of the room that looked foreign to her then she realized that lying on the bed made her feel like she didn't want to leave at all, Even when her father wasn't in debt, Minnie still never felt a bed this comfortable.
Uh, But wait ...
Minnie immediately sat up, she looked around the room which was filled with shades of white and a man who was standing near the bed was looking at her with an unfriendly look.
Am I caught by the debt collectors? Minnie immediately felt scared, she checked the situation and thankfully she was still wearing the same clothes as she was wearing before.
Minnie can feel relieved because it means that her virginity is still safe even though she is now in a room with a man she doesn't know.
"What are you doing here? Who told you to spy on me?" The man asked, bending his body a little which made their faces very close, close enough that Minnie could feel the menthol scent of his breath.
"I should be the one asking you, who are you and where am I now and why am I here?" Minnie did not hesitate to ask back in a higher tone of voice so that she wouldn't feel too intimidated by the man who had a sharp and cold gaze.
The man slowly stood up straight and then he laughed.
"You were the one who infiltrated my ship but you are the one asking why you are here? Are you crazy?"
Minnie immediately got up from the bed and stepped closer to the man.
"I am not crazy, but you are crazy! Insane man who buy a girl. I am a human being, not a tradable fish! You perverted man, sex brains, heartless, crazy rich man! Don't wish you could touch me!"
The man was stunned when Minnie did not stop swearing at him and what was even more shocking, Minnie did not hesitate to kick his junior hard and make him grimace until he finally fell from enduring the pain that made her face turn red in an instant.
"Crazy woman… What are you doing with my future! "The man shouted furiously.
Minnie did not care about the screaming sound and kept running, through the hallway until she finally found sunlight.
Minnie walked down the stairs and she saw the island where she used to live was far from her sight, which she saw the expanse of the ocean even though from a distance Minnie could see skyscrapers which meant she had to swim to escape, but unfortunately the only ability she didn't have was swimming.
"Why am I so unlucky!" She muttered irritably, but then Minnie felt someone touch his shoulder.
"Crazy girl! Are you trying to run away, huh? "
Minnie turned around, she stared at the man, glaring and hips on her knees.
"Is it still less painful huh?" Asked Minnie fiercely.
"You must pay for what you have done to me! "The man threatened, but Minnie did not flinch and without hesitation threw a punch at the man, but the man managed to escape by pulling Minnie's hand and making Minnie's body interested and without hesitation, the man locked Minnie's space by holding his waist.
"Let me go!" Asked Minnie, struggling.
"Never! Who sent you here?" Asked the man again.
But instead of answering, Minnie laughed. "Very funny, I will report you to the police for doing the illegal act of selling humans, who do you think you are huh? Never underestimate a woman."
Bugh! Minnie could feel her head dizzy after accidentally banging her head on the man's face and Minnie was sure that the man's nose was broken now that she felt his body regardless of the man's grip, but unfortunately, he even slipped and fell from the boat.
The man tried to reach Minnie's hand but Minnie had already fallen into the sea first so that the man was forced and held back his feeling of pain in his nose, he then plunged into the sea to save Minnie who had drowned.
Minnie's breath was already short, she felt the water enter her lungs and her vision was getting blurry.
"Dad, I'm sorry ... Looks like I'm going to die soon."
Minnie blinked her eyes slowly but suddenly she felt someone pull her hand.
The face could not be seen clearly but Minnie could see the anxiety on the look on that face which was currently hugging him warmly and bringing him up to the surface of the water.
...
Harry took a deep breath as he finally reached the surface of the water. Minnie was unconscious in his arms.
With all his might Harry carried this Minnie back on his yacht.
"Hey, wake up! Hey crazy woman! Do you hear me?" Harry tried to pat Minnie's cheek but Minnie did not respond. Harry then leaned his ear towards Minnie's face and tried to listen to Minnie's breath.
"Thank goodness, she's still breathing. " Harry muttered feeling a little relieved. Harry then began to pump Minnie's chest so that Minnie vomited the seawater that was swallowed by her when she fell earlier.
"Come on, why aren't you wake up?" Said Harry who felt increasingly frustrated.
Harry finally tried to give Minnie a breath while occasionally pumping Minnie's chest.
"Come on, don't die here. Look elsewhere if you want to die. Crazy girl, wake up stupid!"
