FELIX HASN'T BEEN himself lately. I've only been in this school for a month and Alaynna's not a virgin anymore, Alaska's spacy, and Felix is not his usual self. Wow. This school's a lot. We walk in class late and wet.
A little before the bell rings for us to go on the busses, Alaska says, "Do you wanna hang with Alaynna and Barbie?"
"sure if there's no alchol involved," I sencerly stat with a smile gleaming across my lips.
"Felix will be there, though," Alaynna adds.
"Okay, cool." I look over at him, "Are you two sure?"
"Yeah, they're sure. I need time away from my family and plus I wanna hang with the new girl." There he is. There's the old Felix back. I broadly smile feeling my insides glee with relief.
"Me, too." I add, "Me, too."
I run off the bus and burst through the door, "Uncle Kimmy!" I say gasping for air because I ran home. "Uncle Kimmy." I searched the house for about a minute or two before adding, "Bye I'm going to my friend's house!"
No one cares they're too busy in their rooms or in the kitchen to even care. I can tell Uncle Kimmy isn't here because he would've asked me how my day was. I walk out the door in my red lifeguard baggy shirt and some black leggings. Felix's black car gleaming from the sun pulls up as I hop in. "Hey," he says his voice so jiddy from a good mood.
"Hey," I smile. He pulls his car away to his house...
